I always stay here when in Buenos Aires. The location is great and it's a very classy hotel.

They didn't have a hair dryer and when I asked for one they said they would bring it. I waited for 20 min and called again and they said they're bringing it and still nothing. I had to leave for the airport and they didn't end up bringing it or even apologizing about it. I stay there often and this time I was quite disappointed by their attitude.

The hotel is in a plush neighborhood of Buenos Aires and very safe to walk around. There is a currency exchange office within a few meters of the hotel which made it easy to exchange dollars at the Blue Dollar rate which is twice much more advantageous than using credit card or exchanging at a bank. Breakfast was excellent. The building and hallways and the rooms could use some renovations and the beds were not super comfortable. The hotel accepts credit card or cash and it is better to pay with cash.

The location is great as it is near to many places we planned to visit on our first part of the trip. The staff are nice and available. The rooms size was good as well as overall the facilities.

We were promised that we would have the early check when we called before booking the dates. However, on our arrival early in the morning, the room was not available which was a pity as we had a very long flight. Nevertheless, the were offered to use the spa area to refresh and change so we could go out and explore the city. The breakfast needs some improvement in terms of the variety of the vegan options and coffee, it is a shame that in a hotel of Melia a more decent coffee during the breakfast comes at extra charge. Overall, the hotel felt a little worn and needs some better maintenance.

We have stayed at the Melia Recoleta twice before getting onto a cruise ship in Buenos Aires. We came back the second time because of the friendly and helpful staff, its location, and the charm of the hotel. We have another trip to Buenos Aires in 2025 and we’ll definitely be staying at the Melia again. To all the staff, thanks for a wonderful stay.

Location close to much to see in the Recoleta and very quiet. The breakfast is very good, with eggs and more, not just sweats, and live piano! (be sure to bring some pesos to tip the piano player, she’s quite good).

Our trip was affected by Covid events and there was a need to change our schedule on the go. The hotel staff was very willing to accommodate the changes without hesitation. The team of Francisco, Jose, Facundo and others were efficient pleasant and prompt. Francisco provided a personal guided tour of the Eva Duarte suite, above and beyond his duties. If the opportunity arises, we will gladly return to this property

The enormous picture of Eva Duarte (Evita) at the entrance. Elicits memories that are controversial and conflictive. This is extremely personal, not to be conflated with lack of property values.

It’s a nice hotel on the lovely, quiet street. Location is superb, near all main attractions and excellent restaurants. Staff it’s friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious.

Roof top is disappointing, very small and shallow tube full of mosquitoes, outdated and dirty lounges, very limited space.

It's like walking into a palace somehow - very beautiful classic design and everything is taken care of to the very last detail. My room was very spacious - more like a 1-bedroom apartment. The bar had great options and it was a walking distance from several places I needed to go to.

Roim could have smelled more fresh.
