The property was clean and well stocked and maintained. It is at the end of the Iodide Street and Argent Street so within easy walking distance from eateries (Cafe Alfresca and The Palace Hotel) and within easy access to Broken Hill station and the Miners Memorial. Wednesday night was Karaoke Night at The Palace. Access in and out of town is via Iodide Street, The Barrier Highway and Silver City Highway. There is easy off-street parking.

There were no issues with our stay. The property owners were very helpful also warning us that the side streets flood during thunderstorms and not to leave town during the thunderstorm warning (you can get stranded out of town as the creeks flood). There was a current thunderstorm warning but it didn't eventuate.

No breakfast available. Very nice neat motel. Thought the price might have been a bit on the dear side, but then again I have not stayed at a motel for about 6 years. Has a very good Chinese styled restaurant semi attached to the motel. The food was nice and plentiful.

All the lights and fan have only one switch in the bathroom/toilet

Comfortable bed, great location, large television, good wifi, comfortable sofa, lovely staff, quiet room.

I thought I had booked a room with a sofa bed so that we had somewhere to sit but it turned out to be a single bed. This was unclear on booking.com. As we were there for 4 nights the manager was more than happy to change us to a room with a sofa.

The location was perfect for what we needed. All amenities were within an easy walk. It was also great that the kids could let off steam in the pool.

We did need to ask for an additional towel. It wasn't a big deal and we were brought one up very promptly.

it was so easy to find & located so close to the main high street. parking right in front of your door was fabulist. every thing was clean & spotless. We arrived late & that was not a problem either. A key was left in the reception lock box which was again easy to find. the room was so cosy & warm when we arrived which was another lovely touch. every thing was fresh & spotless. This may be a Motel but it just seemed so much more….

location is great mostly quiet although can hear some heavy traffic

A lot of tradies mine workers stay here take up a lot of the car park and are noisy out at night having beers in the courtyard and noisy early morning getting ready for work.

The room and the whole area was very clean. The distance to the center is very short. In a few minutes you are in the center of Broken Hill.

Unfortunately there was a verbal fight in the next room and in front of the door all night and I could hardly sleep.

Welcome on arrival was great, accepted a room ‘upgrade’, room was quiet and comfortable, motel is in the town and handy to most touristy places.

The motel was very quiet, very few rooms occupied, not sure if it was due to few tourists or popularity. In any event we were made to feel welcome. Restaurant by similar name seemed more like an ‘Chinese takeaway’ we ate there once and the meals were generous and enjoyed.

Very clean and comfortable. Good location easy walk to restaurants and shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will certainly stay here next time in Swan Hill

All excellent but could do with a microwave travelling with 3 young boys and would have helped.

Old Willyama was a nice motor Inn located in a good position to everything. It was clean and comfortable and there was access to a great Chinese restaurant from the motor Inn. It was great value for money. Would definitely recommend it to others.
