Albury Burvale Motor Inn

We had a quiet and comfortable stay, the manager Rocky was very welcoming and helpful. The room is not large but is well designed and fitted out. There's everything you need for an overnight stay: frig, kettle, toaster and microwave, plus d cutlery, glasses and basic crockery. There is no kitchen as such. The location is quiet. We'd stay again.

Too much strongly perfumed cleaner was used, we had to air the room for quite a while. I had a bit of trouble getting the older style satellite tv system working. Then again this is a fairly budget motel, and I'm sure Rocky would have helped of I'd asked him. No real problems.

It's a decent hotel when you are bypassing Sydney / Canberra. I booked this hotel at the last moment, before heading to Canberra. I find this hotel's price reasonable for a 1-night hotel stay. Alice the staff member was nice and communicative since the beginning. it was a large room with all the facilities such as a fridge, milk, microwave, and towels.

For the price this hotel was great. The beds were comfy and there was a sofa to be able to sit and watch tv. There was foxtel available with tea and coffee making facilities and toaster and kettle. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful when I rang to say we would be late checking in and sent me details right away on how to do late check in so that it wouldn't be an issue getting in the room. It was also lovely and quiet which is what we needed after a 6 hour drive. Definitely recommend staying here

Bright and clean, everything we needed (except that breakfast bowls and spoons would have been useful)

Also It would have been nice if things were a bit more informal and friendly, and staff showed a little more interest in us as people. We like being able to get to know staff a little and to share a bit about our and their interests and backgrounds. It's also good to be able to find out a bit about the town you're staying in.

I payed for a 1 night stay as my daughter was having surgery on Thursday and would be released on Friday but Friday morning they told us that it wouldn't be likely that she would be aloud out until Saturday (so I rang the motel and asked for another night and then went and payed at 10.30am) but by lunchtime on Friday we were aloud to leave so at 1.30pm I went back and told her she had been released and we would be booking out so she charged me $20/hr from 10am-1.30pm (so for the $85 I payed for the extra night she charged me $70 for the 3 hours extra we had the room) I feel this was a bit too and pretty unfair, given our circumstances a bit of compassion would have been nice! Overall stay was pleasant!

Check in was very easy. When I rang to say I would be late, they immediately sent a text with instructions on after hours check in procedures. The room was large and clean.

The cupboard doors near the fridge didn't close properly. Also, when you sit on the toilet and try to use the rail to get up, the toilet paper holder is in the way. Not good for older people or people with mobility issues.

The room was spacious and having a couch to sit on was a bonus. There was a toaster so we were able to have breakfast in the room.

The ensuite was a bit squishy with the toilet very close to the vanity which made it difficult to sit and get up. The split system in the next room was very noisy.

Great older style budget motel. Room included everything I needed and was very comfortable. Motel is close to the highway exit, so a really convenient location for people travelling through.

Stayed in the deluxe family room with 3 adults and 4 kids. Everyone had a good sleep. Standard kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster in the room was convenient ( we only used the microwave and fridge). Friendly staff. Will be staying there again on the way back to Melbourne.

The carpet! To be honest, they were quite dirty, kids had black feet just wondering around the room. The kitchenette area had floorboards so not sure why they didn’t replace the sleeping/sitting area.

The room was spacious and very clean. The location was close to good eating places and a short drive to the city centre. I would recommend this motel for a short stay.

There is nothing we didn't particularly like at this motel. It was much cleaner and better run than another motel we stayed at in Albury 2 years ago.
