Crystal Fountain Motel Albury

Staff made it really easy to check in as we were running a bit behind schedule, and our room was well equipped with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Comfortable bed, good size tv, and really liked that it had a couch so you didn't have to sit or lay on the bed to watch tv.

Bathroom needs some attention, the shower water pressure is a bit strange. Strong but also not at the same time. The shower head is also very low in comparison to regular showers (my 6ft partner had to really duck to use it). Pool was lovely but dirty, needed cleaning as it has lots of leaves and dirt in it. Would have been much nicer if it was cleaned daily.

CFM is in a great location, close to shops, eateries and only approximately 10mins from the cbd area. The staff and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful when required. The room was a very decent size, with a nice comfy bed, clean linen and tidy veranda to enjoy the afternoons. USB ports next to the bed was a bonus as other motels don’t always have this option. Parking was ample and the pool, spa and sauna were also very nice. would stay again if I’m in the area. thanks.

The shower head was a bit dated but the pressure and temperature was good. Some of the rooms walls and roof could do with a paint touch up.

Pros: the room is good size, so is the bed and bedding is cleaned regularly. there is a Smart TV with Wifi that works and has access to Netflix, Disney and prime etc. the pool is well maintained along with the sauna and spa which is more than I can say about other hotels nearby. nice tropical feel with a bbq. location is close to a lot of places to eat which is good.

cons: rooms interior design is a little outdated but I personally didn’t mind, especially for the price. and only kitchen appliances like microwave and kettle along with cutlery but there is no kitchen sink have to use bathroom sink if need be, but again that’s more personal preferences but for the price you pay definitely worth the stay.

I liked the pool and spa facilities with the palm trees, sort of makes you feel like your at a resort.

Its a pricey stay for a motor inn and doesnt offer anything extra to justify the extra cost to stay there. Most motor inns have a microwave or a sink to rinse dishes spare linen in the cupboards, this one does not. there was food from previous guests under the bed, we seen it from outside while sitting on the balcony. The pool is nice and looks nice in the photos, but it looks bigger than it is.

The location was great and close to all amenities. The room was great for a family of 4, The room was nice & clean including the bathroom. The onsite facilities were great such as Spa, Swimming pool. It also had a large grass area to sit around and relax. The parking onsite makes it very easy to carry luggage to the rooms. A very nice scenery if you are staying on the top floor as you can see afar away in the mornings.

The plumbing system needs to be looked at as the shower heads were making noises. Although the noise existed for a little while only. It could have been pressure related as many tenants were using the system simultaneously.

1) It seems the receptionist was absent every time when I went to the reception. (The female manager was kind and helpful though btw) 2) Would be good if you could provide softer medium pillows as the ones in the room are quite hard and tall for us to sleep.

The location is in a part of town that is dodgy We will put upstairs, and a car was downstairs, was quite substantial luggage There is no elevator The people in the room next door had children playing football over the top of us and our car Just one of those areas in town, because of the price of the motel, I believe it brings in those element of people The hotel is excellent if you have no regard for your vehicle or the location

Motel was beautiful and very relaxing the indoor spa was just what we needed after 4 full days of travelling Murice and his lovely wife has accomadated us quiet regularly for stays and have always been olive and friendly

Would of liked more comfort on patios chairs were very weak and it was beautiful from the top floor too sit out and enjoy the afternoon sunsets

Helpful staff. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Easy to check in as we arrived to the place quite late. Keys were left in a safe box with all the info sent via a text. Thoughtful of the staff to leave the lights on at the stairs for us so we would not have to go around searching the whole place for our room at 11:00 at night.

The fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy. It was a short 1 night stay so we didn’t have anything else that we were not happy about. Being clean, not just the beds but overall room and space around was our priority and it was just that. And beds were comfortable. Other than a noisy fan in the bathroom, there weren’t anything that we didn’t like for the night that we stayed.

We did not have b/fast due to renvoations in the kitchen /reception area. We were able to get a last minute booking despite it being the busy days prior to Easter. The room was very good for the price, clean and tidy, however there were some mildew stains on small areas of the grouting in the shower. . The beds were great, the bathroom and the vanity basin were both quite large. The staff we spoke with was very casual, but in a nice ,friendly , country way, which we appreciated after speniding a week in a large city motel with more sophisticated facilites and staff. He was most helpful. Location not great if you are staying to visit, however as we were only overnight, it was within walking distance of a restaurant, McDs, KFC and Subway. No traffice noise, lovely pool area for kids and families.
