Big and comfortable room. Great meal at the on-site restaurant.

Lower floor looks out onto a very messy and overgrown back ‘garden’ and broken neighbour fencing. This view forms part of the room and needs improvement to give guests a nicer experience.

We enjoyed our quick one night stay and would definitely stay at the Mercure Gerringong again. The room was clean and the big bathtub was a nice bonus. The location was great, yet felt secluded. I enjoyed the views and the two pools. It was only a 3 minute drive to the shops. We had breakfast included in our stay and my son loved the automatic pancake maker. I thought breakfast was ok, but could have been better. For example, having bananas and strawberries to go with the pancakes would have been great, but instead only apples and oranges were in the fruit selection. The staff were also very friendly. We hope to stay again sometime.

Easy to locate. Layout was well thought, straightforward to navigate. Also the layout is weather proof during wet weather conditions. Amazing restaurant and service. Notable mention to reception for making our stay a memorable one for our Wedding Anniversary and an extra special mention to Jean for your warm and accomodating service at Bella Char. Must dine at the in-house restaurant or room service as the food is amazing!

Nothing. A bonus would be if it was closer walking distance from the main strip of shops at Gerrigong, would be a nice stroll!

This property was beautiful. I wasn't expecting it to be honest. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. There was a gorgeous courtyard outside the restaurant. It was quiet, which I rarely experience. The room was huge, and a generous size bathroom. I ordered room service after a long day and it was fast, hot an delicious.

I had to leave very early in the morning, there were no lights for me to be able to see my way safely to my car, and no lights to guide the way to reception for me to drop off the key. I had to use my phone light to see. It didn't make me feel very safe being alone.

The hotel is beautiful, so peaceful with beautiful grounds. The location of the hotel is perfect, a 15 min walk from Gerrigong town or 2 min drive. The staff were so lovely, really helpful. I visited in the winter but would love to come back in summer.

The rooms are basic which is totally fine, just lacked a little warmth. I was a solo traveller so was keen to grab room service, the first night I was able to the second night I wasn't as they turned off the app. It was easy to run into the town to grab something there.

The property was lovely. From the very nice lady checking me in at reception, to an amazing massage at the spa, The restaurant is fantastic - I enjoyed my steak dinner so much I went back for the same the next night. The room was modern and very comfortable. and while it was still too cold to use it, i really liked the idea of an adults only pool, as well as the other family pool.

My only grumble is the proximity to the main road in and out of town - my balcony was maybe 100-150m from the road, from what i could see most of the rooms are about the same distance. I'd hoped to sit out on the balcony for sunset drinks, listening to the birds in the trees and perhaps a bit of the distant waves at the ocean beach not far away, but instead i got almost constant traffic going past until quite late in the evening. If you're looking for a peaceful country vibe for your stay, this is probably not the place.

Both myself and one of my friends accidentally booked the wrong date for our room. I realised immediately and the Mecure allowed me to change to the correct date no questions asked but my friend didn’t realise to the day before and much to our surprised they still allowed her to change it. Exceptional customer service, comfy and spacious rooms. And an amazing level of cleanliness.

My only complaint is the step in bath / shower as not. Fan of those generally

Value for money plus some….a resort offering everything on site; very conveniently located. We were happy with our stay.

The step in bath in the room and the restaurant dishes were average for what was expected on menu description. The Sri Lankin night dinner was unexpected but incredible value for money and a delightful surprise as it turned out.

Close to where we wanted to visit- Gerringong, Berry, day trip to Huskisson

I was worried about the noise between rooms as my family made a lot of noise. The shower head was i. Front of the taps meaning you had to get wet to turn on the shower. I would have preferred the hot and cold shower taps to be marked as such for safety.

The property is very pretty, beautiful old trees and gardens outside the reception and restaurant areas and beautifully maintained.

The room was lovely and spacious but the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, the mattress was very hard. it was a really big bed, but it was two beds joined together and there was a hump in the middle, it was just too firm for me.
