Don't judge this motel by it's exterior. When we pulled up we were a little sceptical. However once we entered our room... WOW.... it was excellent. Fabulous products in the bathroom, beautiful towels, sheets, bedding, blinds. Crockery and cutlery X 2 was a great surprise as was the selection of tea, coffee and chocolate. This motel is undergoing a Reno so quite a few tradesmen around but they were very courteous and didn't interfere with our stay.

The gentleman in reception was a little "grumpy" but was suffering with leg/knee pain and so I forgave him. He thawed out and was really quite nice.

Location was good and not to far from the town centre. Water pressure for shower very good. Air conditioning nice and quiet Bed cormfortable and TV reception excellent for the area. Plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases.

Needed a little TLC on gutters as rain was overflowing

Jason called ahead to touch base with us as we were driving up from Melbourne and running behind schedule. When we arrived he was available at reception and very friendly and helpful. Parking at the front door was very convenient.

Rooms a little dated, some noise from the nearby road.

This is a classic old style motel and is a very convenient stopover as it is well located to the M1. The rooms are spacious, scrupulously clean and you park at the door of your room which is so convenient. The owner/manager is friendly and helpful. I was given real milk upon check in which makes for a much better cup of tea! It is a short drive to downtown Kempsey but I ordered room service for dinner and it exceeded my expectations. The barramundi was delicious and came piping hot with a generous serve of vegetables and a glass of wine!

Great king size single bed. Pillow were comfy. Looked like freshly painted and new carpet. Although furniture (cupboards, wardrobe, chairs) were mostly outdated they were clean. Plenty of parking.

expensive but it was around xmas holidays. Small issue with toilet - had not been cleaned properly from previous occupant.

The room was really nice. There was fresh milk which is always a huge plus, they even had hot chocolate sachets available. That was really nice especially when you don't drink tea or coffee. Hot chocolate is very rarely supplied. I thought this place was absolutely great and will definitely stay there again.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Located soon after coming off the motorway - quiet and safe yet just a short drive into town for supplies. Lovely big updated room with super comfy king bed and nice bathroom with great shower pressure!. Nice seating area with table plus a comfy chair. Good air-con and large TV screen. Great value.

Was a lovely quite location, easily accessible and the gentlemen at the check in was really helpful, very lovely. Especially considering the time of day when I was checking in (late). There is also a nice area out back to stretch your legs and go for a bit of a walk.

Unfortunately, there is no restaurant/ food service on premises.

The beds were comfortable, room was comfortable and a nice hot shower.

Having to walk through a pile of dirty laundry dumped out front of our room because they hadn't finished cleaning the other rooms.
