a) Close to airport ($15 taxi fare), meal was great, bed was comfy, slept well. b) Room was end of row and upstairs which was difficult for me with walking stick, though Bar Manager helped me upstairs and was kind enough to get TV fixed quickly and even brought my meal up to me as I was happy to wait until 7pm when the busy hour eased.

a) No proper locks on doors or security chain or other means of securing, only one simple pop-in button. b) Although the room was spacious with beds chairs table and counter good, the room was in need of refurbishment, just looking rather tired and well-used, with soiling/stains etc on curtains, walls, carpets and some bed covers. c) It was rather difficult to get downstairs in the morning with 2 bags and walking stick, and quite difficult to find way around the back area, searching different entrances, some locked and a wrong end of building, until I found someone to show me to the actual front door to meet my Taxi back to airport to collect hire car.

Service was fantastic, cant remember the persons name who served us it had been a long day and I was tired, i think his name was Dan, his customer service skills where fantastic and he was extremely helpful. Even though the restaurant was fully booked for dinner he went above and beyond to get us a table by opening up the function room so we didn't have to find somewhere else to eat after a long day. Food was great, our youngest daughter is a fussy eater and never finishes a meal however she demolished it here. We stayed here just as a cheap and quick stop over on the way back to Victoria from the Gold Coast and it exceeded our expectations.

Bathroom of the room we had could use a fresh coat of paint but other than that everything was great.

This property was very well priced, and in a great location to walk to the beach, into town, shops. We liked that the balcony in the room was completely private. All staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a maintenance issue which was attended to without fuss. The food at the tavern was fabulous, generous serves, really good value. The vibe at the tavern was also great, it seemed to suit all demographics from kids to oldies!

The rooms, although clean really need a refurb. The flyscreen door was falling apart. There is no wardrobe, only a single coathanger on a hook on the wall. There was no dish cloth, teatowel or washing up liquid to wash coffee cups or wipe down benches (a simple fix really).

It was a really nice place, very busy. The childrens playground was fantastic

It was frustrating that we could only access the childrens playground through the hotel. Our children were not able to play on it in the morning, until the hotel opened. It would be good if people using the hotel had access to it at any time at their own risk.

accommodation was great good size room..staff very friendly excellent service…food was amazing with great price and not a long wait for meals park area for my grandson excellent which he thoroughly enjoyed going to every day he was very happy as I was which was my reason for visit .. asked him if he wanted Nan to go stay somewhere else next time I visit he said no he liked this place.. so hopefully book in again soon

unfortunately after what I just said there was only one problem not with your accommodation but with guests next door room 1 TV quite loud til 5.30 on 2nd night and on last night couldn’t sleep due to family next door being very loud at 2.30-3 o’clock in the morning knocked twice to ask if they could keep it down

Spacious, comfortable, good wifi, beside pleasant walk along marina, close to shops and food. Poor first impression at entrance to motel beside hotel but actually it was very good.

Minor issue - would have appreciated a bed light, toaster, plates and cutlery

The room was big . That it was attached to a pub so could get food. The food at the pub was really good and staff very friendly.

The carpet was really dirty. It was inaccessible . Had to climb lots of stairs to the room . Wifi didn't work .

The food was excellent at the hotel and Dan the day manager was so nice he was exceptional treating us so well and also was very professional . Due to the way we were treated we would go back again

Very cheap, quite clean, air-conditioned, all necessities provided for (Wi-Fi, soap, towels, coffee, jug, microwave, modern TV). Friendly staff. Just off the main road, close to food, easy parking.

Serves a very specific purpose. Not somewhere you’d particularly want to linger. Very suitable for an overnight stay (we would absolutely stay here again). Somewhat less suitable as an operating base for a longer family holiday.

I would have liked to see some plates, cutlery and maybe a toaster. it was a nice room but when your doing travelling you can’t always afford to eat out every meal especially when there is a family of 4 and it’s nice to know you have the option to be able to eat in the room.
