The premises are a part of a hotel so there is always the chance of excessive noise however, when I booked the room, I was given a room towards the rear at my request. The lady at reception was very helpful and I was permitted to secure my bike in the room with me. I had booked a single room for one night as I was travelling by bike (bicycle) The room had a double bed and a single and was furnished with a microwave, fridge and AC, all of which worked well. The hotel is well located, close to shops and beach etc.

I paid $123 for a single room. Not exorbitant but more expensive than other places I stayed on this trip, no doubt due to its location.

The staff were wonderful and the room and bathroom was cleaned to within an inch of its life. The staff do really well with the dated accomodation to make it comfortable and clean a this is much appreciated. The location is wonderful. Horseshoe bay is just gorgeous and there is plenty of food options around. Although parking can get a bit scarce at peak pub time (arvo, evening), we always found a spot. Short stairs were manageable with luggage. We will be staying again on the way back home and are grateful to have this affordable option to break up a long drive.

There is a wee bit of smoke drift from the pub gaming room. It was strong in the reception when we checked in and could smell it actually at the windows of the unit but not really once we were in the unit. Unit was good for passing though and staying in a great location. Room we stayed in for 2 nights had no balcony and small kitchenette so not suited to a longer stay for us. But it was long enough to enjoy SWR on the way to our destination.

Perfect for our 1 night stays to and from our destination. Our first room was massive and even though it had no balcony it was a lot more comfortable and cheaper! The quick walk across the street and down the hill to the creek and the same for the beach was perfect. Enjoyed having the pub down the stairs, great food and super convenient. We were worried about noise having our 2yr old with us but we didn’t hear a thing. Also a bonus is the extra single bed, saved us having to unpack the travel cot, so a big win!

Rooms are a bit old but super clean.

Michelle on reception was very helpful re a late check in and very friendly - she even asked the cleaners to do our room last so we could have a bit of a lie in after our late night arrival! Big room, very clean, good powerful shower. Big car park. Very close to beaches and cafes (recommend Heritage!), handy to have the pub downstairs for dinner. I’ve stayed twice now and recommend spending bit extra to get sea view room - aside from the view they’re also much lighter.

No power points by bed Don’t like the fact there’s nothing to stop people in the pub wandering up to where the rooms are

We had an excellent stay and learned to love South West Rocks. We wish we could've stayed longer! The room was equipped with everything we needed and the bar downstairs serves lunch and dinner - very convenient. Other food places are very close as well. The beach can be reached by foot in just a few minutes. Don't forget to check out the tourist information with the little museum, a very lovely volunteer helped us there and shared lots of useful info.

The location was excellent, directly across the road from the beach. Our room, on the first floor, had a view of the ocean. Room was quiet, despite being on top of a pub. The staff in reception and in the pub/restaurant downstairs were very friendly and accommodating. The food in the pub restaurant was fantastic. Best pub meal I have eaten in a long time.

The onsite parking was not undercover or secure. Apart from that, all other aspects of the stay were very pleasing.

The Seabreeze proves you don’t have to be slick and styled to the max to offer comfort and charm. An airy spacious room with views of the water over the town. Clean and comfy, quiet though it’s attached to a pub. Love it.

There’s a bit of rust about, but hey, we’re at the beach, things get rusty. It all worked well and we had everything we needed. Ate at the Seabreeze too.

The room had a lot of space and clean and it coffee and tea facilities and biscuits and water with cutlery and glasses etc. Parking was close and plenty. The location was perfect.

The single key made it hard, when someone had to get something from the car, there is no power in the room or you cant get back into the building if you leave the key. There was a lot of noise through the night (like a big fridge switching on and off)

The hotel is not far from the water & it has a great restaurant. It is also close to a couple of coffee shops & restaurants, although being out of holiday season, not all open outside of Thu-Sun. Foxtel is on the TV, which was good. There was no noise from hotel patrons (once again, not holiday season).

There was nothing I didn't like about this accommodation, except maybe that the view out of my window was of a verandah for pub patrons, so it would be necessary to keep your curtains drawn for privacy if anyone was sitting there.

We booked a table downstairs in the pub for dinner and when we tried to find our table they checked that we had a booking but they missed us when setting up the booked tables. This can happen we understand but it’s the second time for us! The first time we booked online & the second time we rang & booked! Definitely something wrong with their system.
