Every room was SO spacious and the balcony was lovely. The open living room looked stunning and the sofas were very comfortable. There are also TVs in every bedroom, a washing machine and dishwasher which is very convenient. The hotel also has great food and is located very close to many activities (e.g beaches, dolphin and whale watching, markets, Woolworths, etc). Would definitely book this place again.

We thought toiletries would include toothbrushes and toothpaste, however it only included shampoo/conditioner/body wash and towels. There was also no tissue box provided and no lift from the ground to upper floor. However these are very minor cons because the overall experience was amazing.

This was out third stay here so we clearly like the property, which is ideally situated adjacent to Nelson Bay shopping precinct. Easy on-site parking. Very spacious bedroom and huge bathroom. Comfortable bed and nice sheets and pillows.

Avoid room 109 as it has a bank of a/c units outside the windows and there was a constant and annoying hum. We asked for a different room for our second night and the staff were very obliging. My only negative comment about our next room (room 104) is that there is no convenient power point in which to plug in the electric kettle - had to use a power point near the bed which was a bit annoying.

My weekend was quite busy so didn't spent much time in the place, but certainly good value for money in a superb location.

1. Reception: Dont get me wrong, the ladies were absolutely great, but it was unattended most of the time. There were alternatives yes, but is no fun to wonder around a place you don't know looking for assistance. 2. For the quick and spontaneous travellers like me, that don't spend much time on line, would be good to have a list of whats happening in the area and the available transport options to the kep places. "You can look it on line..." yes, of course but what we are really after is the Local advise ! WHo wants to spent more time on line on a place like that !

clean and well presented, felt like a secure location. Staff were very friendly and probably would assist if asked but you shouldn't have to. Great location and handy to park close at no cost but its tight parking. Very reasonable pricing.

would have preferred a ground floor room, we're both nearly 70 and lugging a case upstairs is a bit of a chore. no-one in the foyer/lobby to assist or book in, had to go into the bar to find staff. may be better to have a bell/buzzer to alert staff to come to the visitors to book and assist rather than the other way around. Really small bathroom.

A good size room with easy walking to most food outlets and hotels. Ten per cent discount at adjoining restaurant on production of room key, where the food was good. Nelson Bay and surrounds are fantastic locations. We would stay at the Seabreeze again.

Carpark not secure in hotel carpark. The toilet door was warped (04), difficult to close and needs replacing. Doors in adjoining rooms slamming at all hours, admittedly it was the weekend. So we made allowances, but perhaps the door closures could be adjusted.

Everything and the location can’t be beaten all staff in all areas get a two thumbs up👍👍we will definitely be back there again and so will our friends

Not a big issue but in room 106 shower water would run out on to floor if you had spout pointed wrong .it had to be straight down.also I reported to receptionist that rain water was leaking from down light above vanity basin in heavy rain that saturated floor but this can be fixed

Rooms were a great size for the price, they were very flexible and understanding when i changed the dates and extended our stay!

Our bed was two singles pushed together, which is obviously very common! but one of the beds kept rolling around and we couldn’t for the life of us get it to stay still. So that was just a little inconvenient as anytime my partner turned in his sleep it would roll away and the blanket would fall off us both.

Loved the location no need to take the car out of the carpark as everything is within walking distance. The room had everything we needed and was quiet even though close to the main road. We were celebrating my hubby's 80th birthday and met up with friends for dinner and drinks. We will certainly be back in the not too distant future. Thought we may have trouble getting a parking spot in the carpark on such a busy weekend but had no trouble whatsoever.

Perfect location, clean, easy check-in, comfy bed, fluffy towels, great price for this location.

The view from my room was of the back lane and garbage bins, but I did choose the cheapest room option being the queen room, which is quite small. This was fine for one person, but would have been squeezy for 2. Only an overnight stay so these were not major issues and I would stay again, probably get the king room next time for the extra walk around space.

Great location near the harbour and shops. The hotel refurbishment is lovely and new. A pretty foyer, and great windows from our room, I enjoyed the new paint job, high ceilings, sparkling bathroom tiles. Also fun if you like falling asleep to the sound of live music in the pub downstairs.

Didn't use the pub as it smelt strongly of cigarettes, same reason I was not so keen on a hotel smoking area being under our room window. Found it hard to find a carpark sometimes. Reception left mid-afternoon when we arrived, but we were well assisted by the bar staff. Wasn't great when we first entered the room as it had been used perhaps by staff? Also, a man weirdly walked into our room in the middle of the night (possibly our next room neighbour?) so remember to lock the door.
