Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms had more than what we needed, robes, ironing board, iron, kettle, espresso machine, fridge, hair dryer. They had even warmed the rooms before we arrived, which is a really nice touch, especially on those cold winter evenings in Canberra. Very comfortable bed with heated blankets, great lighting throughout the room with side lights for bed and desk. Very clean bathroom. Quiet location, Canberra is just a 15-minute drive Will definitely stay here again

Nothing I didn't like

Lots of detailed services provided, such as high quality thick and extra large towels, bathrobe, electric blanket, luggage stand, comfortable bed (good quality mattress, king size bed for tall people like my husband), air-conditioning, room is very clean, tidy, well presented and reasonable price. We will stay at this motel again when we are down in Canberra.

The bar fridge and the parking

Good clean comfortable accommodation. Older motel but extremely clean, nice fresh bedding and furnishings. Motel was in the industrial/residential part of Queanbeyan but was perfect for an overnight stopover. Out of reception hours check in was very easy to use. Added comfort provided such as robes and a mini bar if required.

Beds extremely soft for my liking Shower leaked across the floor

This is my second stay at the Country Plaza Motel. It has that degree above the usual motels. The furnishings are of another era and so well looked after, the room is clean and the bed oh so comfortable. The bathroom is fastidiously clean and well appointed. Quiet location. Queanbeyan can be cold so reverse cycle air con and electric blanket made for a cosy room. I will definitely go back as the added bonus it is the perfect location for my trip to Queanbeyan.

Couldn't fault a thing.

The room was compact and clean with a very comfortable king bed. The furnishings were of good quality in antique style. The towels were large and fluffy. There were coathangers that were easy to use and two bathrobes. The room was very quiet. There was a bank of powerpoints under the TV and extra powerpoints next to each side of the bed. The wardrobe had sliding mirrored doors and was close to the powerpoint for the kettle which was useful for using a hairdyer with ease. The heating was very effective with an airconditioner and a wall heater. The bedside lamps were easy to use with a switch built into the bedside table. Free parking was available close to the room. The shower had a rain shower head and the water pressure and temperature were very good.

The bathroom was quite small with limited shelving for putting toiletries on.

Did not have breakfast-joined the family at their home. The decor of the motel was unique and very pleasing. Facilities such as electric blankets, good air conditioner, top-of-the range tv set and comfortable bed and lounge chair made the stay comforable.

While there was a toaster, there were no plates or knives available. There was nothing on which to place cooked toast nor knives to butter bread - maybe this was an oversight? Parking in the marked spaces was a bit haphazard. Numbering each parking space would be helpful to all guests.

I will have to say hands down, the Country plaza motel in Queanbeyan is by far the best Motel in Queanbeyan. I have stayed at several in the area, and this property is absolutely fantastic all round. The staff are great, the rooms are exceptionally clean, designed beautifully. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a motel. The sheets and blankets are high quality, and so soft. The woolen throw on the end of the bed is gorgeous. It is so fresh and clean as a crisp, soft to touch, and is not the slightest bit itchy-FINALLY ITS DONE RIGHT!!! The price is matched to other properties in the area, yet so far ahead in everything else. I cannot recommend this property higher, I don't normally write anything in reviews, I will just tick the faces and so on.

Not having longer.

Didn’t try the breakfast but dinner in its own restaurant was very delicious. The dishes is very presentable and full of flavors. Staff has done a very job on clean the rooms.

I would like a microwave in the room. And a Password to access to free WiFi.

Clean and functional motel with my car boot less than 3 meters from the door of my room - just what I am looking for - one double bed in the room - quality linen and a full height shower (i.e. not in a bath) - just how I like it.

Area around the property is a bit industrial, but what fine for what I needed

Third stay at Country Plaza Motel. As usual, comfy bed, hot shower with good water pressure. Meets all my needs for my stay in Queanbeyan.

My room was on the main road side and traffic was fairly constant during the night. Not as good a sleep as I usually have staying here.
