The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. A full size fridge is a bonus if you are staying more than a couple of nights. Non contact check in was very easy ( you are sent a code to collect your key). The communication regarding this was simple and easy. The room was very well supplied with crockery, cutlery etc. There was a sink ( always a plus). The grounds were pleasant and I noticed there were laundry facilities available.

A VERY small bathroom with nowhere really to hang damp towels except on a hooks, one of which meant the towel draped over the toilet paper. We noticed parts of the bathroom had been updated. Whilst the basin and taps were new whoever put in them in didn't check for practicality. The tap mixer length was barely long enough to get the water into the basin and water tended to splash everywhere - quite odd.

Beautiful rooms. We were quite blown away when we unlocked the door to 'the residence' Large, spacious and great amenities including a bath. wow!!

Lighting could be improved. Like most hotel rooms there was harsh overhead lighting in the kids bedroom and bathroom . This is very common to motel rooms but could be improved with lamps or wall lighting. The blinds in the kids room didn't block the light and as the room looked out on to the main road this did cause some sleep disturbance.

*very good value for money *not “luxury accommodation” by any means, but had everything you’d need in a ‘“neat package” *rooms clean and neat *convenient location - easy to travel to medical specialists *units are ground level, or have only a few steps to the front door. *would be great for families(affordable), or for an extended stay - kitchenette had everything you’d need to make “no fuss” meals, saving money on eating out *free wifi (that didn’t drop out) *text messages from admin … true contactless service *small, private courtyard… allowing guests to sit in the fresh air, without being “on display” *and lastly: the showers were HOT, with GREAT WATER PRESSURE

we wanted something close to Canberra, at a reasonable price - and this accommodation fit the bill for us. Yes, the facilities are dated compared to newer hotels, but the accommodation worked perfectly for us - studio with kitchenette and small bathroom. Parking was easy and onsite. Bed was comfortable. And it had the Campbell & George Social Club across the road for dinner options (easy walking distance). We would definitely stay here again.

we had a slight glitch with check in, but that was quickly and efficiently resolved.

The villa was maintained in very good condition. It was secure and the space at the front was ideal for my motorcycle- I noted there were others with just a narrow part that was sufficient, but this one had an adequate paved area right at the entrance. The kitchen, while basic, was quite suitable for my purposes.

I'm not a fan of gravel driveways, since I ride a heavy motorcycle. Naturally this isn't an issue for cars. I was anxious the gates may have been closed at night, because I needed to go and come in the early hours of the morning. A phonecall to the off-site reception assuaged my fears.

Nice and quiet premises even though the cars were parked in front of cabins. Luckily there was not too much traffic. The cabins were great - reasonably sizeable and everything we needed was provided. The place was really close to Queanbeyan centre and its restaurants etc.

It would have been great to have the car park somewhere else than in the front of villas but that’s obviously impossible to arrange.

Location was perfect for us. We had an appointment in Canberra and it wasn't far. Close to plenty of places to eat. Easy parking. I loved the little table and chairs out the front so I could sit and enjoy the morning sun. There are no staff to be seen but picking up the key was easy and we had no problems

Nice easy electronic check in . Walking distance to main Street, right next to show ground. Room was great lovely and spacious very clean and would be ideal for a long stay full size refrigerator full size kitchen sink bath tub if traveling with children. Will be our go to accommodation in future when we stay in Queanbeyan.

That we were only there for one night

The staff did not appear to be onsite over the weekend, but that's ok. I love the little villa, and I was stoked to get the same villa for a second time. I'll request it again next time I stay.

I would have preferred a key to lock the screen door, and maybe a change dispenser in the laundry.

The facilities were roomy for a small space but comfortable, and although the bathroom was very small it was clean and functioned as it should. I liked the closeness and ease of getting to Canberra city from Queanbeyan. The shopping centre was close by to pick up incidentals.

There was only an electric frypan for cooking which needed renewing. It would have been nice to have a hotplate option. The fridge was turned off when we arrived and took a little time to cool. I feel that should have been turned on before we arrived.
