Spacious room, comfortable bed, laundry facilities in bathroom. Very clean. We were originally given the wrong room, i.e. without the bathroom laundry facilities, but this was swiftly rectified when we went to reception to tell them. We liked the accommodation so much that we are now staying in another Abode hotel at Malua Bay - equally lovely.

The location is remote from the city and supermarkets. We booked this accommodation as it was close to a Park & Ride and we thought we'd go into Canberra on the bus. It wasn't until we were at the hotel that we discovered that P & R doesn't work the same way as in Britain where you can get on the bus at any P & R and pay with cash, card or phone. Hence, we were unable to use the bus and had to drive into the city. This is not the hotel's problem but anyone booking needs to be aware of the P & R system here if they don't want to drive into the city.

Spacious, clean room for a family of 4. King singles were very comfortable. Great to have kitchen and laundry facilities. Excellent value for money, lots of parking, and only a short drive to the CBD.

I don't think a cleaner had stepped foot on the balcony for a very long time. The glass, railings and floor were covered in thick cobwebs. It wouldn't take much effort to clean it up. There were two saucepan lids in the cupboard but only one saucepan. The only spoons were soup spoons. The queen bed was VERY soft and squishy, almost like a waterbed. The room photos showed a couch/sofa but there was not one in our room.

Very large room, extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Only one floor up so easy access to our room, with a ramp up the front entrance into reception. Super clean, with a large bathroom and washer/dryer. Flat easy free parking is always a great bonus. Quiet location despite being near a main road with the hotel super easy to find. Friendly professional staff.

Reception rang us to check on our arrival as they were closing early the day before a public holiday in the middle of the school holidays!! They would have re-arranged how we were to check-in to be fair. It was mid-afternoon, and we were almost there, but one would assume extra staff could be found for such a busy time of year, when Floriade and all sorts of things are happening in Canberra.

Large room -but it was an accessible room so I’d be interested to find out what a regular accommodation was like.

These are rather small complaints but make a difference between a fantastic stay and an average stay: Not enough sugar sachets in the room even for 1 person- only 4 sachets, which was barely enough for overnight stay (2cups evening and 2 cups morning). No complimentary biscuits to have with your cuppa. It was irritating and nit well organised that the waste basket was in the bathroom - I could’ve moved it but didn’t think of it until just about to leave!

Room was clean & specious. beds were comfort. overall the room & bathroom was clean. surrounding was calm & quit. location was easily accessible for Canberra land marks. all the facilities required for comfortable stay was available in the room.

1. some kitchen utensils were not clean, when we wanted to boil milk, it was noticed that milk pans are not clean. Then we had to not to do. 2. there was a warning about snakes at the entrance. it was bit of scarry. could have been ensured that premises is clear from Snakes.

The room and facilities were clean and of a high standard. It was great to have the washing machine and dryer. Having the driving range close by also made for a bit of fun for some non golfers!!

It wasn’t so much what we didn’t like, however the mattress needed replacing as it was beyond soft. We ended up sleeping upside down as the head end had almost collapsed and felt like we were lying on an incline. There could have been some spare bedding ie extra pillows. We did raise this issue on checkout.

Exceptionally appointed modern apartment room. I was generously given an upgrade from a normal room to a family suite. Very very quiet, great facilities for an extended stay if required with up to the minute cooking, dishwasher and laundry appliances. Couldn’t fault it. Convenient guest pantry with snacks a prepared meals also available.

If you were without a car it is not as accessible but with a car just a short drive to Manuka and Kingston and parliamentary triangle.

Always well.presented and clean, good parking for almost any vehicle MR or under. Golf courses, gym (seperate businesses but immediately beside) are great. A little bit away from the CBD action but close enough for a short journey when needed. Modern decor and amenities, staff are helpful and friendly.

Nothing to complain about. They could possibly look at striking a deal with the golf and gym owners for a co-promotion.

The bed was comfortable, I had facilities to cook for myself. The room was a good size. It was clean. The location was perfect for me. I had no trouble with noisy neighbours which I much appreciated. The was a pantry that you could get meals and snacks from if you didn't want to go anywhere to eat or buy food. I have stayed there twice and will always stay there when visiting Canberra.

The room was clean but if you look higher than head height there was dust to be seen. It is a no smoking property but I could smell smoke in some of the halls.

Being able to check-in to such a great hotel with our dog was so comforting. We've stayed in some pretty horrible pet friendly accommodation - so this was a treat. What was fantastic was the fact we could use Google Chrome in the room. Was quite an easy process to set-up. Meant we could watch anything we liked from our phones, without having to login to an app on the TV (& then forget to logout!). Room was very clean. Bed was a bit soft for my liking - but mattress comfort is very subjective & personal!

Better sound proofing for the rooms - dogs barked throughout the night as they can hear noises from the hallway.
