It's very clean! They clean the room few times a week, and you get your own sheet set, plate, cutlery, mug, and glass – so everyone has their stuff. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there's a cool lounge for movie nights and chillin'. The hostel has an outside garden - perfect for eating and enjoying the fresh air. It's super close to the beach and just about 10-15 minutes from Manly Wharf and corso – the location is spot-on! Plus, there's a bus stop (199) just minutes away. For anyone thinking about staying in Manly, this is my top choice (and I've seen a few hostels here). The family running it is super nice and always ready to help. They're keen on getting to know everyone and making a comfy vibe. They even threw a lovely Christmas dinner and gave out watermelon on hot days! The staff was super nice too!!! Highly recommended!!!

The only thing I wasn't thrilled about is the price. It's pretty high, but I guess that's the deal everywhere. At least here, you get more value for the money.

Nice neighborhood, a store and two petrol stations nearby. Walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Spacious room, AC working, the room is reasonably clean. Dishes, microwave, fridge and towels included, which was great.

Loundess. Some guests didn’t respect the quiet times at night. No soundproofing. You can hear the birds screaming in the morning and the children from the kindergarten next door. Also some quests smoke at the backyard and the smoke comes inside if the bathroom AC is on.

it’s family-owned and they really do a good job making you feel welcome! the rooms are spacious, very clean and the bathrooms are as well really good! the kitchen and the common area (including a garden) are welcoming, clean and comfortable places to spend your time. also mara took really good care of me when i had a bad sunburn and told me where to get different lotions to help it and she even asked me if i’m feeling better the next times we saw us! absolutely lovely people!! would highly recommend it!

We had a private cabin which included kettle, tea, coffee, crockery, air-conditioning, TV, lockable lockers, ensuite. Access to Bunkhouse kitchen. Very comfortable. Angus welcomed us. Very courteous and friendly. Escorted us to our cabin. Location only 15 minutes walk back to Manly Corso. Pleasant walk via beachfront or local streets. Would recommend the Manly Bunkhouse.

The staff is amazing, it's super well located and lots of different spaces to socialise. Every room has their own toilet which it's very good👍

Although the kitchen is very well equipped , you even have an air fryer, it is very small for the amount of people that can stay at the hostel, quite hard to find a space to cut as it only has a table that fits 3 people. Also it's not very convenient that the kitchen closes at 9:30pm

The location is very good, it is a little far from the city center, but Manly is a beautiful neighborhood, the bus passes 200 meters from the hotel and the ferry is a 10-minute walk away to go wherever you want, and the pl The attention of the staff is spectacular, all the people are super friendly and good vibes, I 100% recommend Manly Bunkhouse

This place is excellent for the location, atmosphere and the people it attracts. It's clean, comfortable and relaxed. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone.

There is nothing I didn't like and I would question any avis that said likewise as I stayed for quite a while.

This hostel is a very good place for people who want to enjoy Manly and the beach while staying in a quiet place. I would definitely recommend to WHV who want to land in a first place with everything within walking distance and lots of places to find a job around. - great location - super helpful staff - clean

the location is excellent!!! a five minute walk from the beach, great place to go walking around and see the sights with your significant other. the room was well kept but I feel like the paint job could definitely be improved upon. the water pressure and temperature were good. although the bathroom is laid out weirdly it served its purpose.

the bathroom was weird. the curtain didnt keep the floor dry, guests have to wipe it down before placing the floor mat. the bathrooms floor is on a different level than then the rooms floor. the draft under the bathroom door when the fan is on was uncomfortable. also there is a tissue dispenser instead of a roll holder for the toilet. all of the above served their purpose well enough though I guess.

Great location, really good vibe for backpackers etc. The garden at the back is lovely and the kitchen facilities are huge! The staff were amazingly friendly and even tried to help my girlfriend and me find a place to live on a more long-term basis as we’d just moved to the area

The 5-bed dorm we stayed in was cramped for that many people. In contrast the 4-bed dorm I had for one night was amazing.
