The position is beautiful, nice restaurant and outdoor dining area by the private beach and pier. Lovely views from some of the rooms. Lots of areas to explore. History behind the quarantine station was interesting.

Not many options food or drink wise, hillside bar etc only open on weekends or special occasions. Brekky very average for the price. Ferries no longer come to the pier which is a shame.

Did not purchase breakfast. Visiting family.. the room o Was an excellent fit for us. The shuttle service was a bonus. Being on a hilltop area and being older we made good use of the bus. The funicular stairway was a challenge and I suggest older folk don't do it too many times in a weekend. My muscles are so sore.🤪 The views of the city, day and night were magical. Bush setting lovely.

Nothing as far as we were concerned.

I don't even know where to begin describing how gorgeous QStation is... I guess first thing is you are so close to Manly but feel a million miles away. If you are a nature lover then this is the place for you. We had Kookaburras right outside of our windows both nights/mornings, what a beautiful way to wake up. We spotted Echidna and Bandicoot from our very balcony/deck area! (my partner kept asking all the staff if they had seen an Echinda which I know was very annoying but they handled him like pros! Haha) The Brush Turkley's that live there are inquisitive and like to know what you are snacking on if you have brought your own treats to the room, one even tried to make off with a punnet of strawberries! Watch out for those, they are cheeky. The onside museum is brilliant and everywhere you walk there are reminders of it's past. It is a truly fascinating place to visit and stay at. We stayed in a room with an external bathroom which I was intrigued by it but found the facilities were great - there was even a bath that you could soak in after walking throughout the national park. It was also part of the adventure, wandering around at night - you never knew what you might see! The staff are super friendly and the shuttle buses provided are a fantastic service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend QStation to all my friends and family :)

Beautiful, quiet location in the Officer's Cottage we hired. Nice big rooms and a lovely view. The decor is neutral and calming. Nice to have slippers and bathrobes. Lovely rainshower rose in the bathroom. There was a bath. It was so quiet, we slept really well. Outside, as we wandered around exploring the area, we saw Bush Turkeys, Echidnas and rabbits up close. The internal shuttle bus was handy. Nice that it also takes you into Manly at scheduled times. Nice big fridge in the kitchen and a big dining table in the open plan kitchen/dining area. Mugs were a decent size. The blinds on the windows were good and blocked out sufficient light for good sleeping. Lovely to have the cafe and restaurant both down by and overlooking the beach.

In the kitchen there was no salad or mixing bowl. There was no frying pan. One of the mugs and one of the cereal bowls was chipped. There was not much hanging space in the bedrooms. The bathroom was a bit small but manageable. There was no hook or towel for the hand towel. A public walkway went right past the back door which was a bit disconcerting when someone would suddenly walk by out of the blue!

The views were amazing and locations was so peaceful I can see why it draws weddings in.

The Bathroom seemed prone to lots of insects first was ants hundreds in and around the sockets, then later that day a nest of spiders must of hatched as again hundreds of tiny spiders and a couple of big ones all around the bathroom walls this felt difficult but lots of webs left in windows which didn’t help And the phone system to contact the receptionist was down. Room had a fan but air conditioning would have just give. It that extra edge

The most extraordinary setting in ancient land that was first occupied more than 70,000 years ago. Painful and important history as the quarantine station. Excellent shuttle buses in demand. Loved the fire pit next to the beach at the Boiler house Bar and restaurant, and Nigel the Bandicoot. Conference facilities were excellent and conference staff, especially Milu, were the most attentive and kind I've met. Short walks lead to gobsmacking views. Great breakfast buffet.

Not something I didn't like, but something to be aware of, is the bathroom is across the balcony and it's cold at night to get there. Also you need to be sure not to lock yourself out as the doors easily slam. Blankets and little duvet are thin - would have preferred something heavier.

The location is amazing. The history and scenery makes this a beautiful and fascinating place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was great and I would stay again for the experience alone.

Being surrounded by bushland, I don't mind the odd spider or two as this is expected, but the bathroom had hundreds of ants and quite a lot of spiders in it. I am ok with critters, but some people may find this off-putting. The shuttle bus service was quite slow. Given it was peak period, I would expect the shuttles to be running more frequently. Maybe they should offer free push bikes instead. The food options are very average and very expensive.

Once you book your stay, you are sent a website with all the information you will need for your stay and more. The shuttle service is great, from pick up in Manly to reception for check in & check out, plus driven to your room. During your stay the shuttle is avaialable whether around the property or back & frorth to Manly, you just need to book/ask for the service. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Loved my morning cuppa on the verdana, listening to the wildlife and had a surprise visit from a local turkey roaming around the property. Just be warned they love human food and will help themselves to your fruit juice, cuppa or meal if left unattended outside. Great property if you like to have a morning/evening walk as part of the national park. Can't wait to go back and stay longer next time.

Exceeded my expectations as there was a very large range on offer including fresh fruit and gluten products available... Loved the coffee and the range of herbal teas too.

It wasn't what I didn't like... Moreover, I should have been a little more able bodied.... While I have to use a walker, it didn't stop me joining a walking 1hour day tour as well as a 2 and a half hour evening tour which tested my calf muscles, all on the same day... I survived the adventure and would line up again in a heartbeat to do it again...

A unique and fascinating location with million-dollar views. I loved being within a National Park, having access to the various walks and beaches, and seeing all the wildlife and the various heritage buildings and artefacts. Bush Turkeys joined us on our verandah while echidna and bandicoots wandered on our lawn. Our room was comfortable, relatively spacious, and well-provisioned. Having good access to public transport with a bus stop outside reception was also a bonus.

Cars had to be left in a distant carpark with guests shuttled to and from their rooms via a 24/7 hr shuttle bus service. We chose to walk to and from the carpark when daylight and the weather allowed. We understood the reasons for this policy; but had to wait > 10-15 min the few times we did catch a ride (which was inconvenient if you'd just walked up to the carpark and then realised you needed something from your room).
