Lovely staff, clean amenities, we also got a room upgrade which was wonderful. The only complaints I have are that the lift wasn't working properly and my daughter and I got stuck in it for this reason. We got stuck on level 4 and it wouldn't move up or down which was quite scary, so we had to less the emergency assist button inside lift and a female voice told us to press lobby and hold for 10 secs. This worked and took us to lobby but my daughter has since now gotten anxiety about lifts and was scared to go back in that lift each time we had to use it afterwards. I mentioned it to reception and the lady told me they've had issues with one of the other of 3 lifts. So someone needs to do some checks and maintenance on all the lifts. Also when I booked the hotel I didn't realise they've now closed Rosehill train station a block away permanently, so the nearest train station to the city is Parramatta and we had to walk 20mins each way with a small child to get there, until the following day when we worked out there is a bus from the bus stop outside the hotel to Parramatta Station. But if you know this and plan your transport around the bus time and train time, or drive a car you'll be ok.

As above

Room was fresh and clean, nicely furnished. Super comfortable bed.

Didn't have a great start was given a room key/card that did not work. Someone else did the lift for me and after lugging my bags up to my door, i had to re-lug them down to reception. Woman I spoke to was a little patronising to me and inferred i wasn't using the card correctly. She gave me a new one, which worked fine. Parking was easy ($15), although I think a little rough to have to pay for parking when you are paying to stay there. Pool furniture was covered in birds poo and most were ripped. Great area, shame a little more attention not paid to it. No room service was available - disappointing.

All the basics were good; easy check in and out by pleasant staff, pleasant foyer, room size comfortable, beds comfortable and facilities good. The bathroom is one of the very few in all the hotels I've stayed in that had plenty of bench space for toiletries and cosmetics. Especially happy that the hotel is committed to zero use of single use plastic and endorse this.

Very little. The attention to detail was just a little bit lacking. We had booked for 3 and would have appreciated 3 not 2 coffee cups and wine glasses. But there were 3 towels, more importantly.

had a great breakfast and they fed the kids for free which is always a help. counter staff jolly and nice to talk to. we had just come back from the easter show and my credit card was basically dead in the water after all the money pulled out by the show. anyway we were dead tired and happy to relax in the Mercure. they even gave me a late check out which was so welcome . thank you Mercure. some people come to a hotel expecting to see a view of the Sydney opera house or herds of wild hilder beasts go sweeping by. well we are just ordinary folk except for the fact we are rich. and are happy the way it is. cheers

well thats a hard question. Elton John was not there to play a song for me on the piano. A marching band to greet me would have been good.I am of course making a joke

The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in, no problems at all with the WiFi it worked really well. The room was a good size the bathroom was nice and room was clean. Pool area was really nice to relax in and cool down, house keeping also done a good job as well. The moment you walk in it is a welcoming and friendly place would stay here again any day.

Our room was near the lift for someone who has trouble sleeping in new places this did cause me some trouble. First few night I was up and down due to the noise, not having anything in the room or close by to have toast or TV meals makes it harder when with children.

We loved the facilities: the pool, tennis court & gym. We loved the outdoor sitting area and the unique design of the lobby area. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hand wash, body wash, shampoo etc. The room was a good size, facing the swimming pool area. We loved the buffet breakfast served in the hotel restaurant. We had a great time.

The rooms don’t have a kitchen: no stove or cooking utensils or plates & cutlery. The rooms don’t have a balcony or window which opens for fresh air. The aircon is not controllable. It has a set temperature which can only be turned on or off. The gym didn’t have any wet wipes available and one of the treadmills wasn’t working.

The room was spacious. The TV was decent in size, however lacked a selection of channels and streaming options. Loved that the hotel provided a transport option to the concert at Qudos Bank Arena,

The bathrooms need to have an exhaust fan installed. Only 2 towels were provided in the room, therefore if you and partner had a shower in the night, the towels remained wet for the morning shower. I believe that having additional towels in the bathroom would also be less burdensome then room service to bring them.

Worked perfectly for our 6 day family break. The location was good and easy access for what we needed, which was why we chose here. The kids loved having the pool and the one day it was closed for maintenance was easy to get some tennis rackets and balls from the reception to play on the courts instead.

Being charged an additional $15 per day for car parking was a bit steep and harsh. Whilst located on a bus route it is a bit of a walk to the train station if you wanted to use that instead so for transport location most people will have to drive. Just include a bit extra in the hotel cost and no one will notice or realise

Well priced rooms. Fantastic location and facilities available. Across the road is a supermarket and fast food resturants - this made it easy to pop across the road and grab items if needed. Parking was easy and inexpensive in comparison to what it may cost to park in other parking structures. Breakfast was delicious and many options for all visitors. Bedroom size was very generous, shower was quite large and bed was super comfortable - Best sleep my husband and I have had in a while!

I dont have any negative feedback and we will be back!!!
