Remote control of air con is touch screen being installed on wall for easy access. Interesting telephone has automatic bedtime stories for children. Door has right angle ledge so that it cannot be easily opened wide ajar for security reasons. Has a large shower head rainfall and normal shower head. Welcome drink of cock or mocktail.

No water jug, bar fridge and disposable slippers. Sink not located inside bathroom which can be noisy if turning on tap and water is running. No shower screen or shower curtain at shower area. No wardrobe although few hangars at the hooks and hanging hooks being installed on the wall. Strange location of check-in counter as the words "Bar" was seen at the background of counter. Shower rainfall not strong and cannot be adjusted. Room not that spacious and window is not large. Not able to access gym with hotel card. No staff around gym to provide assistance.

Free cocktail/mocktail upon checkin. Stylish decor. Very clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Restaurant with decent food on premises. Comfy (but small) rooms; noise depends on flight route of planes. Large shower. Within walking distance to our rental car provider (East Coast Rentals).

The rooms are a little tiny, especially when more than two people stay in the room (the room we stayed in was fitted with two queen beds). I would prefer if the sink was in the bathroom rather than in the main room. Shuttle bus has to be reserved and is 10 AUD/person. Finally, the location could be better especially if travelling by public transport (it is a 15 min walk to Mascot station).

The hotel concept is fun and different and the style accentuates this - which we loved. The layout and functionality is great and it is obvious that a lot of thinking went into it. Although the rooms are small it was perfect for only one night and had all the amenties one could ask for. The information letter we received before arrival also answered any questions we might have had. The food was above average and the breakfast even better! Well done Moxy!

We used the hotel transfer and because we booked only one day in advance had some trouble booking it. However, all worked out well and we were picked up as arranged.

Close to the airport but surprisingly the noise from flights was only occasionally noticeable. Rooms are small but really well thought out and stylish with amazing walk in shower and very comfortable bed. I loved the peg wall for storage instead of a wardrobe, it’s functional and looks great. Coffee in the lobby was surprisingly good, and I also really liked the pickup spot where you can buy snacks, wine, toiletry items etc. a great idea! To top it off I accidentally left my laptop in my room and the staff retrieved it and had it in an Uber for me within minutes. Lifesavers! Would definitely stay here in the future if I’m staying in the area again :)

We came off a cruise early in the morning. I rang the hotel at about 8:30am asking if there was any chance of an early check in as we were departing early the next morning. Carla was incredibly helpful and told us we could check in sometime after 11am. We arrived early and sat in the lobby/bar area and had coffee while waiting. Carla came to us just after 11 and said our rooms were ready. The rooms were comfortable and the walk in shower was most appreciated after the tiny cubicle on the ship. All staff were friendly and helpful. There is a modern laundry on level 4 for extra towels, ironing boards etc. This hotel does promote itself as a more self service hotel. As we left early the next morning we didn’t try the breakfast instead eating at the airport.

The room thermostat was a bit fiddly. It would have been nice for the fan speed to be a little more powerful as it took sometime for the room to cool down. I’m a hot sleeper so I just slept on top of the sheets. If it rains which it did early in the morning, the sound of the water dropping onto the external ledges does come through into the room which kept me awake for a bit. Food options especially evening meals are limited at this hotel but Uber eats and Menulog deliver. I also think some of the interior design and decor will date pretty quickly.

This was our second stay at the Moxy, this time prior to an early flight the next day. We think this is the best of all of the airport hotels, and certainly nowhere near the most expensive. It's got great public spaces, a really pleasant bar and the food at the restaurant is good pub/bistro quality - just what you need for a pleasant evening before a flight the next day. We'll probably stay at the Moxy quite regularly - it's fantastic value for money.

There's not much wrong here - it's got all of the ingredients right for the market it's aiming at. The only niggle was that the bus to the international terminal was full at the time we wanted, but we ordered a taxi the night before and it was both on-time and cheaper at that time than using the bus, so a good alternative. It's not a sumptious luxury hotel, and doesn't aim to be, but the rooms are big enough, nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and very nice functional bathroom. We paid a lot more at Haneda the next night to stay at a pretty luxe hotel and agreed that the Moxy was more fun and faaaar better value.

Trendy, comfortable. Accommodating! We were offered free late check out for signing up as a Monvoy customer which was so helpful as we had a late afternoon flight. They also gave us free drinks tokens in celebration of my partner’s birthday which was a nice touch.

We got a bit stuck in the lift late at night, but once this was notified to reception staff they alerted the technician and we were out quickly. The managed was extremely apologetic and upgraded our room as compensation which was very welcomed after our 24+hr journey to Aus! Can’t fault customer service. Excellent.

The staff were so helpful and friendly - I checked in late getting off a long flight and they got me sorted quickly to go to my room which was very comfortable and quiet. I appreciated the complimentary drink on arrival - I don’t drink alcohol so they gave me an icy cold orange juice which was lovely. And when I had to leave next morning the staff were so helpful - even one of the cleaning staff stopped to give me a hand with my bag to the lift (I had not called reception asking for help thinking I could manage- but I really appreciated the unexpected help.) Lots of smiles and a very relaxed and yet efficient atmosphere.

The only improvement I could suggest would be a small kettle and mugs in the room. I always like to have a herbal tea before bed to help me sleep.(I carry my own). I also love a coffee first thing on waking before I face the world and I travel with my own aeropress and ground coffee. But not having a kettle I had to go downstairs to their cafe. But the coffee there was REALLY good. And the girl at the cafe lovely. So I got a takeaway and took it back to my room. And I also travel with a hot water bottle as I find it helps me go to sleep when I’m traveling through different time zones. It would have been good to have a kettle in the room for that too.

Really enjoyed this place, the reception staff were lovely and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and I loved the design of layout. The lobby had a great vibe with games to occupy your time, the rooms had everything I needed. I wish I had stayed for breakfast and coffee in the morning but I had an early flight to leave for. Perfect location close to airport for early departures.

Only thing I missed having was a Minibar/fridge in the room to keep your own drinks/food/medicine cold. However with this being more of an airport hotel not a lot of people would be planning long term stays to store food etc.

Good airport hotel. 24h reception / check in. Check in and out are very quick. Check out is at 12, which can be very useful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room itself is clean and has everything needed. However, it is rather small and has a quite unusual design. However, for me a very good hotel to stay for one nght after a late arrival at the airport. Good 24h snack bar with great selection available.

All in all a good hotel. The rooms are on the smaller site. The sink being placed outside the bathroom is a bit strange and there is no fridge. Also limited storage place. However, for a short stay those shortcomings are no issue.
