Riverview Motor Inn

This motel is a few years old and had been neglected by the previous owners so there were some minor inadequacies/ issues that are being addressed by the current owners, however, our room was tidy and well appointed, good tea and coffee making facilities, + microwave + fridge (with complimentary bottled water), nice clean bathroom and hot shower (with a separate bath tub). The beds were comfortable and clean and the location was great. Management seemed very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night but would have no problems staying longer.

This motel has unfortunately received some really bad reviews which I think are mostly unwarranted. Yes, our room did have a slight musty odour but it soon disappeared with some open windows and fresh air. Yes, there were some noisy people staying there but thats not a fault of the motel, just people being inconsiderate. I can't think of anything I really didn't like about this place. Yes, it's probably a 6/10 but it's not 300 bucks a night either. We'd definitely stay here again.

The beds were super comfy and the pillows were a dream to sleep on. The room was clean, shower big with good water pressure. It was beautiful waking up with a view of the river

Location was lovely looking toward the river, & not far from town. The room was spacious & beds very comfortable. Having crockery & cutlery was a bonus 🙂

Bathroom door was squeaky in #2 and had no iron . The round table and chairs in #8 were unstable. Our Saturday night was disturbed by people upstairs being very loud up until 2.30am !

I like that it was accommodated for myself and my children, a porta cot was supplied and cleaned infront of me. I had parking infront of my room. Fresh linen and great service from the owner.

It neededs upgrading, no windows or screen door so to keep child safe had to keep door shut no fresh air, also the walls and floor above heard everything upstairs. Woken to smoke alarm at 4am from above which was a scare. Bathroom old, needs upgrading. No kitchen sink to wash dishes had to use the bath tub.

Very clean with a lovely view to the river. Staff were very helpful. There was a miscommunication with pet-friendly accom - booking.com stated it was pet friendly but when we checked-in, we were told only half the rooms are pet friendly and that we had booked a non-pet-friendly room. Thankfully, they had x1 pet friendly room available. We were charged an extra $30 and the staff were apologetic. Despite this, we were really happy with the experience. The staff were really lovely and the room was so clean!

Wi-fi wasnt working

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The unit had been recently refurbished the bathroom was a much nicer place than it was on our last visit (pre covid). We use the Riverview as an overnight stop on our way north. It represents very good value for money.

Was reasonably comfortable, easy to find & good for the price. It was also not far from our event so we didnt have to travel a long way after a really hot day !

No Bathroom light ..had to shower by the light outside the window. The light over the mirror also didnt work

Easy access off high way. comfortable beds. Has all the amenities needed for the room. As we had a late check in the staff were very accomodating.

Better curtains at front door, let’s in a lot of light as lights on the outside of building stays on.

Room was large for the 4 of us and was very clean and tidy the staff were amazing went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and everything was looked after check in and out was easy and the cost for 4 days over the long weekend was great value

Nothing to mention

Good spacious room with peaceful river views. Comfortable beds, ample tea/coffee/sugar supplies. Good helpful staff in a fairly central location. Spa bath an unexpected bonus. An experienced manager knowing what the visitor wanted.

No hanging space for clothes.
