The location was great, short walk to city centre and to Curryfest which is why we went. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The decor was quite modern and well maintained. The bathroom was on the older style and probably could do with an upgrade but still very clean and spacious with shampoo/conditioner and soap available. The room had tea/coffee making facilities and microwave. Really it was like staying at a very well priced hotel! Although they did not have a manned reception as such (they send you a code at check in time to get the key from an automatic box), it really wasn't needed, and they do give you a contact number in case you require anything. Great stay.

Loved that the motel caters for travellers with dogs. The fenced yard was so convenient with dog bowls and doggy bags provided. Self check in was easy and perfect for a late arrival. Location was great close to shops. Clean and comfortable room coffee, tea and milk ready to go with kettle. Perfect for our 1 night stay.

Security efforts could be made. Screen door latch was a bit flimsy, the glass door latch didn't work - all it had was a chain lock to secure the room from street side. The AC was noisy had to turn it off to sleep. However the Pro's outweighed the cons I would book again for the convenience this place offers!

What a great Motel!!! This place is a great gem along the Coffs Coast. The place was clean, the beds were comfy, the pillows were comfy, the location is great & it's pet friendly - Book a specific pet friendly room. The pet friendly rooms have little grassy/ fenced courtyards which are fantastic to have that available and makes it so much easier to toilet a dog late at night & first thing in the morning. They have clearly put time and effort into renovating it and the decor is lovely and fresh. We've stayed in so many motels the last week all the way to Cairns & this place is the best we've stayed at! The diggers club is a few metres walk so it's easy to go grab some dinner! The only negative is that the parking isn't allocated and that may not be an issue for able bodied people but when you have mobility or movement issues it can be difficult to unpack/ pack a car if you don't snag a carpark near your room.. I'm sure though if you asked the owners to allocate a spot near your door if you're disabled/ have difficulty walking that it would be easy enough to do & I'm sure they'd be happy to facilitate.

Only the parking but that's because I have rheumatoid arthritis and can't walk far so like to park as close to the door as possible for obvious reasons

Great location - we were driving from Sydney to Brisbane and required an overnight stay. Just off the highway, easy to find. We arrived late around midnight and there were clear and easy directions to receive the key. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. Across the road was the local club and up the road we noticed a Hotel that was busy. For breakfast, we went to Blue Bottle Brasserie (400m down the road), great option for breaky. Food is great and they open at 6am - perfect as we wanted to hit the road early. Thank you Woolgoolga Coast Motel we will be back again

This is a well set up pet friendly motel. The motel grounds are well kept and the swimming pool was very clean and inviting. The motel is located within walking distance of the main town and restaurants. The room was very clean, tastefully furnished and was appropriately stocked with a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. I loved the key safe check-in system as we arrived late in the evening.

I found regulating the temperature of the shower very tricky - scalding hot or icy cold. I was staying in Room 1 which was in clear view of the road and lacked privacy. All other rooms appeared to have better screening.

No breakfast, but I had my own with me. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. Congratulations to the cleaning staff. Diggers was across the road so dinners were easily obtained and delicious. Lovely peaceful location. Saturday night was a bit noisey, the people in the adjacent room seemed to be moving this around until midnight. Other than that couple I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will recommend this motel to my friends.

Loved the location and the pet friendly facilities. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable with the outside enclosed area, for our 10 month old Golden Retriever, being a wonderful addition. She loved it and we loved it. Would definitely stay here again.

My only suggestion would be that it would be nice to have a fan in the room so as not to have to use the air conditioner. It wasn't hot enough for air conditioning, but too warm for no air circulation, but this was just a minor thing.

We have stayed here before & will definitely stay again. Communication is great. The location & ample parking is just so great. We always travel with a trailer & the peace of mind that parking won't be problem. The rooms are great, bed, linens & pillows so comfortable. Having the back sliding door & access to a verandah with lovely open yard is so nice. Close to the beach & great eateries. Thanks for another great stay.

We could not connect to Netflix which is only a minor inconvenience compared to the benefits of this property.

we unfortunately found that the bed was way to soft and we were sinking into it and there for we didn’t have a good sleep at all. but this isnt going to stop us from returning as we do know you do have comfortable beds there I think we were just given a room that had a very softer bed. I do recommend you taking a look at room 10 bed as this has never happened before from our stay. thank you . other then that we are always happy to stay and we will return 100%

Check in via lockbox. Code received by text message before arrival. The room was clean and laid out as if by a robot eg. a prepacked basket tea coffee and cups etc. Such a clever idea for an unmanned motel. If I owned a motel this is how I would run it.

Tap in the bathroom hand basin had a faulty washer and could not be turned completely off. Not a problem for guests but water cost is higher for the owner.
