Room was clean tidy and convenient, reasonable size, great location to Airlie beach, the main street and the Airlie port.

There was a private function in the bar opposite our room the night we checked in which had ridicously loud karaoke with inapproriate songs for over 4 hours. Many people were asking for it to be turned down. We had to have the TV on full volume to not hear them. It would have been good to know this was happening as no one was told of the disturbance. The receptionists were also not interested in helping and simply said it will end eventually.

Location location locations- with a Seaview room with balcony was amazing throughout the day and specially the evening & sunrise times. Great welcoming on arrival and fast check in. It can get pretty loud specially on a wkend night with bands and the vibrant surroundings so just keep this in mind. Also take into consideration that you’re right in town with all the conveniences.

The endless amount of text messages, emails prior to checking in. I was absolutely overloaded with welcoming messages which lm not saying it’s the worst thing though it could be an automated problem

Warm welcome. Excellent location overlooking sandy bay, close to town lagoon. All facilities seemed to be available at the “Pub” bar and restaurant on ground floor. Yellow crested cockatoo joined us for some breakfast on balcony.

Member of staff at restaurant below simply dismissed us when we asked for a table for two, stating that if we did not have a reservation then there would be no possibility of eating as they were fully booked… yet many tables were free. Also, once again, we seem to have had an inferior room (very small balcony compared to adjoining rooms, sea view obstructed by trees) even though we had selected the best room type available via booking.com. This booking came with high “genius” discount, which, from past experience, equates to getting one of the lesser rooms at the location.

The location was perfect, it was easy to walk to shops or restaurants. The covered parking was a bonus. The pool was large and plenty of sunbeds

There was a lot of loud music ( we arrived on St Patrick's weekend) including competing music from two different venues by the pool so difficult to relax and read a book. Once that weekend was over there was only one lot of music so much quieter. It would have been nice to have a chest if drawers or similar in the room to unpack clothing properly. The only storage was the wardrobe and there were only 3 hangers so not suitable at all.

Great location, at walking distance from the main restaurants, beaches and the port where most tours to the islands leave from. Airlie Beach is quite hilly, but the hotel is located in the town centre, at a flat part of the town, which makes walking in and out easier. The hotel room was quite spacious, and the bed and bedding very comfortable. New beach/pool towels are provided every day as well as complementary biscuits for tea/coffee. The pool is good for refreshment. The staff a friendly and helpful. You can even get some discount on your tours by asking the receptionists to book the tours for you.

Cleaning. The bathroom was not cleaned properly when we arrived. There was visible hair in the toilet and shower box and the bathroom floor was also pretty dirty when we wiped it. The room and overall hotel carpet looks old and needs a good washing. The bedding was apparently clean though.

Great location and helpful staff who allowed us to park all day and store luggage before we actually checked in later that day (as we were on a boat tour). The room was very clean and appeared to have been recently refurbished.

We stayed in the motel section of the property and the curtains to our room were not quite big enough to fit the windows so people walking in the corridor could see in at points. We were also very lucky as to the position of our room (if you were located at either end of the corridor you would likely be disturbed by noise from the pub or the street).

Excellent location! So close to all the shops, restaurants and Boathaven beach. The ladies at the reception were so warm and welcoming. They made it so easy to check-in and check-out, and we were able to leave our bags in a little room whilst we waited for our transfer back to the airport. We put up our door sign for them to make up our room, and an hour later- they were already finished! Water pressure in the shower was amazing and we loved being able to watch a movie in bed using the TV. We even had dinner at the Pub on the night of the 1st and absolutely enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the place.

There was a bit of a smell coming from the drain in the bathroom which stenched up the room.

Room was large and spacious. Modern and clean. Plenty of room for our family of five. The whole hotel experience is a very professional setup with the restaurant, bar, entertainment, bottle shop. Meals were very large and delicious. Pool area was modern and relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room has everything you need.

Water pressure in shower was awful. We were in a family room at the back of the hotel and the street noise and music from the bottle shop was loud at night. Also there is no lift, only stairs, so we had to lug our 5 heavy cases up a flight of stairs in the heat. I recommended requesting a downstairs family room if possible/available. also there is no microwave.

My stay at Airlie Beach Hotel was great. Upon arrival, we realised there was a mistake with my booking. The manager and her team were swift to resolve the issue. I’m incredibly grateful to them for looking after me in this situation. I will certainly be returning to Airlie Beach Hotel to stay and highly recommend this hotel to others. Additionally, the room was spacious, very clean and well thought out. It had all the facilities I required. The building is newly renovated as well. And perfect location right on the beach front to walk to all the shops. And parking was amble.

The welcome we received on Friday afternoon was so friendly she was awesome sorry I have forgotten her name! On Saturday morning both my 18 year old son and I both were saying that our mattresses and the pillows were heavenly...had the best nights sleep! Thought we would hear the noise from the band downstairs but that glass is so thick we didnt hear a thing!

There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, when you have 3 people lining up for the toilet kinda need the fan to make it bearable 😆
