absolutely loved the location so close to everything and right across the road was the beach and we had amazing weather during our stay so it was perfect! the window into the bathroom was a fun little touch. the waterfall downstairs was right across from us I thought would be super loud when we were sleeping but it turned it to be quite nice. the pool was lovely it was just always busy cause we were there on hot days. I enjoyed that everything was there like cups, plates, tea towels etc

the apartment itself was lovely but a few minor cleaning issues, there was so much hair in the drain that the water from the shower wouldn’t go down and my husband had to remove it all so we didn’t flood the bathroom. when we told lady at the front desk we got an apology but no one came to check or give it a clean which was disappointing. the Netflix and wifi was horrible it kept dropping out every night when we tried watching a movie. I also wish we got a clean and some fresh towels and bathroom mat as we stayed for 6 nights, I found out later you could pay $5 for a fresh towel, I know there’s a washing machine but I don’t think a fresh towel should be paid for….

Grand Palais was the place and good value for money. Pianika and the Grand Palais team were great to work with, always ready to answer any questions and attend to any requests, very friendly. The location was perfect, just a few short steps to the beach and close to public transport. The rooms were so nice and clean very comfortable with so much space. Our group had 10 room, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom, comfort and cleanliness 10 out of 10. There so much to explore and it was the perfect location to access so many attraction sites. Recommend 💯 and will choose Grand Palais again.

The unit was exceptionally clean and well laid out. Everything was there as advertised. Loved the homely touch of the board games in the TV cabinet, and it was super easy to use wi fi and log into own Netflix account. Booley Cafe downstairs was absolutely beautiful, and the short walk to the beach was even better! Kids loved the pool, and it was great that it was heated since we travelled in June for an event. Staff at the front counter were very informative and kind. Kids loved the huge fish pond! The best part was that I requested an early check in just the day before with the online registration as I was travelling a distance with children by myself and they messaged at 1015 that I could check in when I was ready!

Only complaint is that the shower in the main bathroom made a horrible screeching noise when turned on

Great two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with a fantastic view of the coast from the balcony & an additional private rooftop terrace. Everything was clean, furnishings were modern & staff were friendly. Alexandra Heads is the perfect location for visiting the Sunshine Coast & staying at the Grand Palais enabled us to enjoy wonderful walks, in both directions, every morning of our stay.

There is a bit of traffic noise but that is to be expected being that it is on the esplanade & it did not hinder our experience.

There are no words to describe our visit except "Brilliant". We walked because of the Location. Everything close - Take aways, Groceries, Surf Club, Beach. The Unit had everything you could ask for like a fully contained Unit. Fantastic. We enjoyed Seafood out on the Balcony, Listened to the ocean, Slept in the most comfortable bed -, That I can recall. I Managed a Motel & 9 self-contained Units for 10 years - so know what people need. This Motel facility was Fantastic. Raving reviews are being sent to everyone & hope they all listen and get to enjoy these as well. WE WILL BE BACK!!! Thanks

If I had to comment - maybe the vent above the Microwave to be cleaned. NO other complaints. I would have loved a few more days to enjoy it all. ( My self complaint)

Breakfast was available for purchase at the Booley - newly opened cafe downstairs in the building. Location directly across from the beach was great, cafes and Durf Club close by and a 20 minute walk to Mooloolaba.

The only issue was that we lost our aircon on the second last day. However the building maintenance person came to investigate, called the technician and gave us a fan in the interim. It was fixed within a few hours. Bonus was that we were given a $50 voucher towards meals at the Surf Club, which we appreciated.

Located right on the beach and bus stop outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great tv. Comfy bed , good appliances

The courtyard was a brick fence from the footpath and a busy road, so no privacy and with the courtyard doors open quite traffic noisy. The sun really heated up the unit in the morning and the air-conditioning was pretty useless.The ground floor studio units are the cheapest but not good for a long stay

The location is great. Just across the street to the patrolled beach. Our apartment had a spa and a café was just outside the front. Check in was easy even with reception closed. Communication prior to our arrival was very good.

We were in apartment 23 on the first floor close to the water feature which was quite loud. The air conditioner in the room was also loud. Reducing the fan speed didn't seem to have any effect. The curtain at the spa was moldy at the lower rim. The kitchenette had neither salt nor pepper.

We loved our accommodation on the 4th floor. Easy access to the beach over the road. We also loved the Booley Cafe and ate there a lot. We travelled by bus a bit and the bus stop nearby was convenient.

I went to the pool most days ( which was great ) but those lounges are so very hard. Some outdoor cushions on them would be appreciated. The frying pan in our apartment needs replacing. It’s wonky.

The 3 bed apartment was very spacious, with amazing views of Alex beach all the way to Maroochydore. We could check the surf from the kitchen! The apartment was modern, had a lift and a really lovely heated pool that was actually warm. We loved the location, close to everything. We will be back.

A couple of the windows in the living area did not close properly, so there was a bit more noise from outside that we would have had if the windows were closed.
