- Arrived late in the evening and the guy covering the the reception desk was very helpful and welcoming. - the kitchen / social area is pretty decent

- bed frames aren’t very stable and creek constantly. - Not really the hostels fault but there was a guy masterbating in the dorm one of the nights. - A/C was loud

Facilities were very modern, staff were awesome and super friendly, the free breakfast was a great bonus and actually nice (last place I stayed had breakfast and it was awful!) Appreciated all day access to free coffee, giant TV and looked like there was a PlayStation as well?! Location was handy being just a few mins walk from Central Station. Room was well equipped and nicely decorated. Disappointed the weather packed in on the day I could have used the pool! This was one of the nicest hostels I've every stayed at, I would happily stay here again, and probably will on my next trip over.

As most hostels are it was quite noisy, especially on the Saturday night. Mostly I was annoyed that my room backed onto a busy common area so I couldn't get away from noise in my room, and they played awful music loudly in the common areas in the evening on Saturday, which I didn't appreciate while I was getting ready to head to a metal gig lol. Also found the cleaning not quite up to par, I went into a shower as the cleaner walked out and somehow there was still hair everywhere!

Brisbane Quarters is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The whole place was very clean and modern, and the bathrooms in particular were absolutely brilliant. The bed were comfortable and had privacy curtains, and the rest of the hostel had good facilitates, including washing rooms, a kitchen, and lounge area and a decent sized pool. Lockers are available in the rooms, as is air conditioning. The centre of the city is along a short walk away, and there are bus-stops nearby, as well lots of places to eat and drink.

The 4-bed dorms are a little small, not much room to move around or store things, especially when it is full. The locker are only big enough to hold a few items, and not big enough for a whole bag.

The hostel is really nice and very well located. Within a few minutes’ walk, you can reach some great spots in the city, as well as the central station. Since I stayed for two nights before heading to the airport, this was the main reason for my choice. Having breakfast included in the rate was one less thing to worry about, and the place has a great vibe. The common areas are also well-equipped to make you feel comfortable.

Personally, the fact that there were only USB ports by the beds was a downside for me. I think having a power outlet would be easier and more useful for different phone models and other devices like laptops that might need charging overnight. As I stayed in a top bunk, I particularly missed this added convenience due to the lack of a power outlet.

I liked the privacy of the 'pod' beds, and it had a small locker, charging point and light inside each pod too. I liked the interior design of the whole hostel - everything seemed quite modern and fresh. The included breakfast was really nice, I especially loved the raisin bread. WiFi worked well. Short walk into centre of Brisbane.

All communal areas felt very cramped - cooking a meal was really difficult, and hard to find a place to sit and eat. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired. There was some chewing gum stuck to the wall in my pod, which I told staff about as soon as I checked in, but it was still there 3 days later when I checked out.

Lovely staff Members, Brandon, Alex and Shine and also one philippina lady that works in housekeeping there and is really kind and helpful. Awesome breakfast with many different type of marmellade, also theres light butter and vegemite. Two different type of bread for toast. Coffee powder and chocolate powder provided. Dishwasher and dryer super easy and fast to pay and use. When you leave you don't have to put sheets off, they provide. Bath soap provided, big shower with glass for don't wet the floor. ''Cinema/living'' room beautifull and comfortable. They have a little gym where you can at least lift weight. Free Extra blanket. Table games and a playstation console is provided with soccer videogame.

The space for cooking in the kitchen is not enough. Sink in the bathroom very noisy. Fridge in the room ultra noisy that for sleep i have to unplug it. Aircon sometime make noise and it blocks. Sometime hosts are noisy and you hear them talk close to rooms and slam doors.

Good boutique style hostel. Was nice to get breakfast also a towel provided. The Reception Staff were all very good. They have really perfected the layout of the dorm rooms you feel like you have space rather than feeling crowded.

I stayed in a few different dorms as I extended a few times. Some parts of the building are more noisy. Think they need to make sure they are regularly cleaning the filters in all the air cons as I noticed in the 10 bed dorm I could feel my sinuses being affected but other dorms I stayed in were good. Maybe on the no smoking signs make ppl aware that this also means no vapping, no fun trying to eat and the person across from you starts vapping. Fix the shelves in the luggage storage room.

Happy days! - did not feel like a hostel at all: more like a hotel - great decor - plenty of books in rooms and the communal area to swap - lots of communal space, including a pool and small gym - PS5, so the boyfriend was happy! - great, central location - good value for money - nice communal bathrooms which were never busy!

- on our 2nd night, people were still in the communal area past the time it was closed. Our room was a window backing onto the kitchen. We had to speak to staff to ensure that they closed it as they weren’t acting upon it. The blonde, young British lad who checked us in was fantastic. Wouldn’t have happened if he was there

Brisbane Quarters is the best place to stay if you are looking for clean and stylish backpacker and own room accommodation with plenty of surprising extras you don't expect. But the biggest attribute of Brisbane Quarters is their staff and customer relations. Their customer service and relations is excellent. The highest quality. I am a mature aged traveller who runs tours around Australia and Fiji. I have stayed at the magnificent 5Star Radisson Blu in Fiji who's satisfaction rate is very high. Brisbane Quarters satisfaction rate is also just as high. They are welcoming of everyone and t's a great atmosphere to stay in for a few days or longer. As for the facilities. The facilities are much better than you will expect. There is great privacy with the bed curtain and you will be surprised with the value of services you get for the price paid, Congratulations to the owner, management and staff at BQ on a first class operation and I will be back or I will be recommending my clients stay here.

I really can't think of anything negative.

Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I could already grab a coffee before the official breakfast hours. Rooms were reasonably sized, including an ensure bathroom and a wardrobe. Common areas seemed well managed, although we didn’t use them much.

The room was on ground floor and the hotel is situated on a fairly noisy street. We couldn’t really open the windows, and it was loud at night / in the morning. We booked the room with an ensuite bathroom. The sliding door to the bathroom was not moving smoothly, so we feared being stuck in the bathroom / not able to move the door properly without breaking it.
