The location close to the train station was perfect for me. The girl when I was checking in was very nice. Room was clean and comfortable.

Bathrooms could have been cleaner. The guy when I was checking out early in the morning was a bit impolite. The girl who checked me in said I could strip of the sheets of my bed and place them in the hallway in front of the room. When I checked out the guy asked me for the sheets and I told him about what the girl told me and what I therefore did. He then literally said „Well if you don’t get the sheets and bring them down to the reception you will be late for wherever you’re going“. Who does he think he is?! He then tried to be nice by asking where my name was from…Bad try to not get a negative review 😂

Super clean and the dormitory were cozy and I loved that you could have a little of your own privacy time if u wanted thanks to the wooden cover beside the bed.

A brief explanation of the place and the area is usually appreciated at the check-in but unfortunately the guy at the reception didn’t even tell us about the kitchen nor the swimming pool area.

Location was excellent, My room had million dollar view, Kitchen was very clean and organised. People at reception were very welcoming, friendly and accomodating. Decor was stylish, combo of industrial plus artistic. Plenty of Roadside parking around just need to be patience as its Popular suburb. Bus strop at door step.

Swimming pool was under constructed hence no outdoor area to chill and enjoy beautiful day. Restaurant was also under construction so outdoor area was messy. Additional stairs were under contraction. No parking on property. Locker provide in room, were all locked and no instructions to operate. So I kept my valuables on My sleeves.

The space was great as it was enough for 4 of us to have our items and not clutter the space. The lockers were a great size for pack packs and some addition small bags too.

our shower head was very small so was like a hose size washing over you (took quite a while to shower), and the shower cubicle also had mould in the shower, and heavily on the roof.

Everything worked perfectly. Appreciated the bathrooms (2) inside our room. Plenty of space inside the entire building. Wasn't there most of the time but I greatly enjoyed my stay.

I honestly did not notice if we could manage the AC inside our room, but I'm pretty sure I got sick due to sleeping with the AC on all of the nights. Wasn't the hostel's fault tho, just wanted to point it out just in case. The building's entry seems a little bit "sketchy" at first sight but I felt entirely safe during my stay there nonetheless.

From entering this place it feels more like a hotel then hostel. Its regularly cleaned, if you are staying for a while like we did you can request clean sheets. Great they lend out towels for free instead of ripping you off. Really nice outdoor pool area. Our 8 bed room was very modern, clean & comfortable. Air conditioning was great. Throughout our stay Kacey/Casey was extremely friendly on the front desk and always willing to help. When we needed to reduce our stay before arrival, Booking.com wanted to charge the room at that current rate even though we had booked a year in advance. The staff at Bunk kindly sorted it out so we would still pay the rate from the original booking. Better to book with Bunk directly instead of through Booking.com Bunk location isn't far from the night life, 5 mins from Woolworths and the train station, there's a bus just outside the hostel. Taxis do struggle to pull up outside the hostel as there isn't proper parking.

Unfortunately, due to Birdies (the club) being attached to the hostel the music continues until ~1:30AM Thurs/Fri/Sat. As long as you are out at those times or don't have an early start then it's fine. Could do with a tv room/games room. Shame you have to pay for the pool/snooker table. Kitchen being far away was the main issue. Would have preferred to have water stations on each floor.

- reception staff were amazing and so helpful whenever I had any requests or questions! - free towels if you requested! - comfy pod like beds felt far more private than normal hostel beds! - extended my stay several times as I was most comfortable here than in other hostels I stayed in!

- would obviously be better if it was slightly cheaper as it was a bit pricier than many of the hostels in Brisbane! - shame birdies is closed for upgrades as it would make the hostel far more social than it was!

Everything seems very new and it’s all clean. Bed is comfortable. Was in fifth floor in a 8 Dorm room which was separaten on two floors, which was quite cool, even got a bit of a look above the city (not CBD). Room has one bathroom for all 8 people, which was no problem. By foot it’s about 15-20 to the CBD but there are a lot of bus stops and a trains station around.

Bed was too short for me (207 cm) but I am used to this. WLAN wasn’t really working in my room (top floor) anymore. Kitchen is closed from 2 to 3 and after 10 pm and there is also a lot of stuff laying around or in the sink, because people don’t put away their dishes. Kitchen towels are a bit useless, because they don’t really dry anything.

-The kitchen was spacious and well equipped -the toilet and shower being separate but in the room -the rooms had big windows so lots of natural light -daily cleaning of rooms and kitchen

- no pool or bar due to renovation being done -no activities offered -not much luggage space offered -missed a space to just sit and relax- tv room etc

Private room was nice and clean. Great to have own bathroom. Felt safe in the room. Liked that the room pass was needed to enter the lift and the floor as well as the room. Would stay here again

Would have liked to be able to control the air con in the room. Could hear outside noise which made it a little hard to sleep but expected this as it was on a main road. Nothing significant to complain about
