Dodgy area with kids. No bedside lamps in either bedroom! Had to ask twice to get some and only by the kindness of Daniel the valet did we get 2 that worked. Weekly room servicing not enough. We had to ask for additional towels, laundry and dishwash powder.

I’ve stayed with FV by Peppers a few times and I always come back confident that I can rely on a comfortable, clean and safe place to rest my head. With a stylish open plan kitchen and living space, separate bathroom and a spacious bedroom; their apartments boast all the away from home comforts one could ask for. Guests are provided with a swipe token along with their keycard which will allow you access only to your floor and shared amenities like the pool and gym. This swipe token will also allow you access to the residence after hours as they lock their reception for guest safety and security. This is a huge comfort and a massive win in my book when arranging accommodation. Location is perfect for individuals looking to be centred around some of the best restaurants and bars in Brisbane or for families looking to escape to the parks and restaurants in the northern suburbs. The staff are always friendly, professional and accommodating and have been without fault on every stay I have had so far.
I only note this for light sleepers; but the last couple of occasions we have stayed on the lower level floors facing the northern suburbs, (on Barry Parade). This being such a busy road for local traffic can make it quite noisy until all hours of the night. Previously I have paid a premium to stay in their apartments on a higher level and I can assure you it is definitely worth some consideration if you do struggle with background noise at night. Plus the city views are absolutely worth it!

Modern apartment, great shower pressure & temperature, large bed, comfy sofa bed, in a great location not too far from all the hustle & bustle of Fortitude Valley. Reception staff were friendly.
It can be super challenging to find a spot to park in order to check in. They have a loading/10mins parking bay out the front which could probably hold 3 cars. If there’s no space you’re stuck trying to drive around and around until a space becomes free as it is on the main drag. If you’re not a confident driver within the city this is something to keep your eye out for and prepare for. Had to pay $300 safety bond per room (rented 2 rooms so totalling $600 on top) which was inconvenient as that can be a huge lump for some. Expected to get the bond back within a week or two.

Had an issue with drainage in room and took a long time to resolve until manager became involved and then fixed very quickly. Location is a decent walk from main attractions however we had a car and the location is central to traveling to different parts of the city.

great location near the fortitude valley area, convenient to restaurants and bars. weekend parking was free on the street so that was good. rooms very clean and nice for the amount we paid. had nice pool and spa areas although a bit cold for us on the day.
our room had an odd bathroom, it was for wheelchair access or elderly or handicap. it was a bit odd. but it was clean and nice just unusual for an apartment. on the up side it was a nice large bathroom and had a great shower.

Rooftop pool we used was amazing. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Great location, super handy to Fortitude Valley main area.
No onsite parking, and even the valet parking to check-in was extremely limited - I had to almost park illegally just to be able to check-in. Lifts were a little smelly as was the rooftop pool lift foyer. Also, the rooftop pool we had access to doesn't look like the listing picture; not sure if there is more than one? The glass panels around the pool were dirty which spoiled the view a little.

Staff very busy so was always a long wait at reception. Some confusion getting up to the room at night as one of the towers locks and access can only be gained from another entrance.

LOCATION!! Walking distance to great night life and places to eat. Loved being able to check out late, the balcony was great and the kitchen had everything we needed.
Parking at property was $45 per night and when we called ahead prior to checking out they didn't get the car ready. We got down, checked out then they went to get the car. No biggie but was disappointing considering the high price to park there each night.

Pretty much love staying at FV. It was only 1 night but worth it!! The sky pool was the big win and the room was so functional and spacious - will definely consider staying here again when we visit again Brisbane!
the Fortitude valley area seems safe during daytime and nice cafes /convenient shops nearby but must be cautious at night if you ever go out due to clubs surrounding the area so be just careful especially if you are alone
