The staff accommodated my request for room as high as possible which was nice, and I also did not expect room to come with a spa - a nice bonus! All staff are exceptionally nice and professional, and were quick to respond when I requested a new iron as the one in the room did not work. Bed is very comfortable, curtains and sliding door does a great job blocking out noise and light. This is the third time I have stayed and have found them exceptional value for money and great location every time. I recommend spending the little extra for a riverside apartment, less noise and the river is very pretty at night.

Only negative is parking is additional cost and quite expensive, but that is to be expected anywhere I guess.

Excellent staff. A really large and comfortable room. When I needed help setting my phone up to give me road directions, the staff were wonderful. The location was brilliant for walking around Fortitude Valley, having access to streets into Brisbane and being close to the river, and for buses and trains.

The hotel responded quickly to a few problems which I would have preferred not have had. The safe didn't work, a window catch was broken, a bedside lamp wasn't working properly, and the toilet was flushing continuously. Not major problems. One lift was dodgy. Again, not a major problem and the staff reacted immediately. While there were things I didn't like, the staff were excellent with their responses.

The view was beautiful. I booked two rooms, and one was great. Great kitchen and washing facilities in the room with complementary washing powder for cloths. The room also had a dyer all were in great working condition. There were two views one in the bedroom and one in the sitting area. The rooms were sound proff. Very relaxing.

The second room we booked had an air-conditioned unit in the bedroom, and it was loud.The system also did not cool the rest of the unit. The unit also had a stale smell to it. The other room was great. The great comments have been given for the first room.

Fantastic view, which was our main reason for booking here as was the location. Walking distance to all places we wanted to see. The room was very nice and easy to acess.

There was no washing machine at all, the kitchen utensils and pans were quite old and need upgrading. Little things like no egg flip didn't help. The couch was old and scratchy and the 2 chairs inside were very dirty. Gross tbh. For what you pay, it should be better than that. Worst of all, $45 per night paid parking on top of the room fees. That's frankly, a bit rude. We got a uber instead which was still cheaper. Our driver remarked that he had heard this complaint many times. At least he gets some business out of it all, but parking on top of the smaller things add up to why we won't be back.

Clean and comfortable room with a great view of the Story Bridge. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location within walking distance of Queen Street Mall (20 minutes) and only a 10-minute walk to lots of Asian Stores and restaurants in Fortitude Valley. Very comfortable bed and ducted aircon to bedroom and kitchen/living area. Excellent soundproofing. Fully equipped kitchen. Easy access to the river walkway.

Having to pay an extra $45/night for the car parking was a bit rough. TV was a bit on the small side. No cushions on the couch.

We had a room on the forth floor, but because it is on a hill we had the main road right outside our window and it was very noisy. Was disappointed with that, but the room was small but clean and comfortable. The hotel location is within walking distance of the river and ferry via Boardwalk, , Fortitude Valley and the CBD. with Scooter hire at the end of the street. It has restaurants and bars very close by, but these were expensive. The pool was lovely and had the best view, but the bar/cafe was closed in the evenings when we were at the hotel.

The room was very close to a Six lane road over the Bridge, so Noisy (back of hotel)

We had a one bedroom apartment with river and city views. Location is excellent and close to all the cafes at Howard Smith Wharf. Our room had a view of the Story Bridge. Rooms are dated but had all the facilities needed. Staff werer welcoming, kind, efficient and happy to answer any questions. Free bottles of water, plenty of milk for coffees and teas. Car park was so easy to access, on one level with big spaces and no tight turns. Automatic entry was much appreciated with no hassling to use a key tag.

Look, the room decor was dated but older places are a bit roomier. Lounge too deep and only a two seater. Maybe add another single lounge chair. Bed is a double, so small and quite hard. Linen was good. Some mould in bathroom in corner of bath. But it was as clean as it could be for it’s age.

View was amazing and was exactly as promoted on the booking site. Location was fantastic - close to restaurants, river boardwalk and ferry terminal. Took the free river hopper ferry to get to the CBD (shops) and it was a great short sight seeing tour. Room was clean other than the doona. Bathroom a little dated compared to the rest of room but clean and functional.

Doona was disgusting. Only noticed when we were packing up in the morning and the covering sheets had slipped away from the doona (no doona cover, as is common in many places). It had multiple large stains that looked like blood and other body fluids. Space and fittings for washer/dryer in the bathroom but none supplied - it would have been nice to have an in-room laundry as we were only there for a short stay between destinations.

The staff and location are expectational. We were booked in for two nights but had to cancel our second as our daughter had hurt herself. The staff were very understanding and couldn't have been any more helpful in refunding our second night. This is the second time we have stayed here and will definitely be back, the location, right near Howard Smith Wharves, is elite.

We only had two minor issues, the parking and the towels. The parking was booked out but we were able to park down the road in the secure park and it was actually $5 cheaper than at the property. The only other issue was the towels, the weren't the greatest quality and were quite thin.

Location so close to Story bridge and Howard Wharf . Comfortable bed. Loved the pool and spa and blue/ white pool towels. Towels in bathroom very white and staff helpful . Views incredible had Disney and prime channels . They provided small milk coffees and 2 bottles of water Air con worked well . Has a safe Room 611 one bed Riverview -did not use the coffee shop or gym

Dishwasher not working . Few shabby areas around tiles and bathroom cabinets . I think they intend to renovate those things
