Large family room with excellent breakfast included in room rate. The beds were very comfortable and we slept really well. It was good our teenage boys had a bed each, too - saved us an argument! There is plenty of free onsite parking, too. We'd just come off a flight from Manchester UK, so we went straight to bed, but otherwise we would have used our drink vouchers for a drink in the bar. The Brook was easy to find with the beautiful big fig tree covered in fairy lights. We are vegetarian, and one of us also has coeliac disease. The Brook provided excellent breakfasts for all of us, including the GF vegetarian one.

Nothing. We were a bit worried about the noise from the bar when we arrived (it was busy as they were showing the Olympics opening ceremony), but as soon as we got to our room we couldn't hear any outside noise at all.

Great location. Beds really comfortable and rooms really quiet. Continental breakfast included in price was delish and unexpected. Parking was good, could park outside or in the hotel carpark for guests. We just parked outside. Location was good. Mall just across the carpark. Large liquor outlet next door. Great Restaurant and bar onsite. 10% discount when charging back to room. Lots of walking/bike tracks nearby. Clean and tidy. Place was busy most of the time from mid morning till closing and food etc super quick, lots of variety and reasonable. Great place to stay.

Didn't tell us about 10% discount in restaurant on check in. Saw it advertised in lobby...but apart from that the service was great.

Location was good, easy to find, with plentiful parking close to the door. The hotel is close to shops for those last minute things, and reasonably close to the airport and cruise terminal. Room was attractive - just like the photos, clean and well presented. Bed was comfortable. We were a bit worried about noise when we saw how busy the hotel was downstairs, but it was fine. Blackout curtains worked well, and late checkout meant we were able to have a relaxing morning. Breakfast was nice, some more fruit would have been good, but we were there in the last half hour before closing, so there was probably more earlier. We also ate downstairs in the hotel the night before, we enjoyed out meals and the venue was vibrant and busy, there was live music, pitched at just the right volume.

Shower floor was VERY slippery, and the water tended to make the whole floor very wet.

As a solo traveler visiting Brisbane in the first time, the whole experience with the hotel is heartwarming and extraordinary. The staff was kind, amicable, willing to help and handling things beautifully. My room was spacious, comfy and with a vibrant view of trees and animals. The hotel is in a rather safe residential area, about 12 minutes away from the train station on foot. There is a huge mall right across, which has supermarkets, retail stores and restaurants galore. Also I love the bar downstairs which has friendly bartenders, servers and amazing food and drinks as well. Again, kudos to the nicest crew. I will definitely come visit again if back to Brisbane someday.☺️

The Brook was a gem. Easy parking, simple to move around within the hotel. Rooms are comfortable, , spotless and very quiet. We ate a beaut meal in the restaurant, the 2 free drink vouchers and 10% dining discount were much appreciated.Continental breakfast was simple but nicely presented . There is an option to order a cooked meal.. All staff were welcoming and efficient. We will definitely use this hotel again when we visit family nearby in Brisbane. The Brookside Shopping Centre is nearby and includes supermarkets and also offers nice retail therapy!

This hotel is centrally located near the Brookside Shopping Centre precinct, with easy access and plenty of parking including a security parking section for guests The ambience and decor of the public spaces is modern, and stylish with a fun vibe. Our room was super clean, spacious and quiet with a comfy bed. Breakfast was included in the rate, and this was a small continental buffet served in the bistro. The hotel also features a huge bar and restaurant area which is popular with locals as well as hotel guests. Although busy on the Friday night that we stayed, there was plenty of space for everyone inside and out. Our rate also included a complimentary drink each at the bar which was mych appreciated.

The comfy bed, so good after travelling for 2 days from Europe. The block out curtains , large shower area and did Imention that comfy bed !!!! I got all my washing done , dried and packed in the convenient laundry on the ground floor. The Brook includes a continental breakfast , which had very delicious raisin toast and cereal, fruit and yoghurt options. Dinner is within the building and Nightcap give you 10% of any food and a complimentary drink. There is, a large shopping centre within 100 metres and the train station a short ride away. The staff were exceptional and friendly.

Good location near Brookside shopping centre for all essentials and a bit of browsing. Also free and plentiful parking for the duration of our stay (4 nights). There is a busy bar and restaurant in the hotel which served good food (albeit maybe a little expensive) but once we retired to our bedroom it was very quiet and comfortable for a good nights sleep 😴

The breakfasts included in the B&B price were a little basic and not much of it but it was adequate and you can order other options at an additional cost if preferred.

The room was very nice and had all the extras you would expect from a top quality hotel at a reasonable price. Our tariff included a light continental buffet breakfast which was located in the pub incorporated into the centre (great for if you want lunch, dinner or a cocktail!). The location in very good, about 8km from the city. It is across the road from the Brookside shopping centre and very close to public transport (the City Circle buses run from there and it is a short walk to the train station). We drove into Kangaroo Point for dinner and it was an easy 20 min drive. Plenty of free parking in a reserved gated area of a very large carpark. We will definitely stay there again.

No undercover parking but not a deal breaker for us.
