Very good value for money for a shortstop and just off the freeway, you can't hear any traffic. There is a large petrol and service station with fast food nearby which makes it easy to hit the road in the morning or get some amenities. The rooms and facilities were clean/comfortable, giving aircon, large bathroom, nice white linen, soap, and hair wash. The restaurant is handy for breakfast/dinner, I didn't eat at the restaurant but many did and seemed very satisfied. There are a lot of male mining workers that stay here and as a single female traveler, I was a little worried about my safety during the night but I must be clear there wasn't any direct reason to be concerned, the miners all had dinner and went to bed and there was no late night noise or shenanigans. The manager was nice and reassured me and gave me a direct number to call should I have any unforeseen issues which put me at ease for my one-night stay. I would stay again if I was doing another road trip. I didn't have the time to go to Gladstone to stay and this was perfect for my needs.

A bedside lamp for reading would be great.

Location ideal as just breaking up our journey. Pleasantly surprised with cabin, had all items needed. Bed comfortable, shower Fabulous, Air-conditioned worked exceptionally well, lovely outdoor seating Area. Restaurant not open so cannot comment on food.

More info on opening/closed times of restaurant. Disappointed large near fuel station offered hardly any food items . Such as butter sugar etc.

The staff were happy, and polite. The lady who attended to the guests in the dining room was delightful as was the chef. The evening meal was just so right for weary Travellers. An excellent home cooking style meal was offered and was cooked to a very high standard. The front office staff were very helpful and again happy and polite. Our room was spotless and very quiet. My husband and I were very happy with our Comfort Inn experience.

My only criticism would be the lack of good pillows. I usually sleep with 2 and the second offered was not suitable as it was very large:and hard. However I am sure if I had asked I would have been offered a second usuable pillow. My bad for not asking.

It’s a lovely place to stay, very friendly and helpful people! Kitchen staff, Kimba and Yvonne were both great! As with the reception staff! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Great job lovely’s! 😁💐

The size of the kettle was too small! And there were no tissues!

Large rooms, clean and decently appointed. Great location just off the highway.

Very long corridors from the main reception to our room…. this motel was an aged care home so lots of space but long walks from the entrance. Not the cheapest place but would use again

Loved this motel. Great value for money, easy location just off the motorway for a one night stay while traveling. Great room, super comfortable bed. Bonus!! They have a buffet style dinner available, from 6pm, $24.95 per adult. Includes two meat dishes, salad, veges, bread rolls and dessert. My meal was delicious, the staff are wonderful, would stay here again.

Convenient location and good value. Very clean and modernised rooms including ensuites.

If arriving after dark the entrance is not clearly defined from the shared entrance with servo next door and some rooms unable to park next to.

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. The location is just off the highway so suited us as we were just passing through and needed a nights stay.

There wasn’t a lot not to like. just be aware the property used to be a retirement or aged care so everything about it looks like a hospital, especially the long wide hallways and the white floors.

Location was easy to get to, not difficult to find. Far enough off the highway to not hear any road noise. The grounds were pleasant.

The only two things I could fault was that we had to park our car at the opposite end of the carpark as there was no designated parking - 1st in best dressed system and there was no running water for the kitchen and had to use the sink in the bathroom.

Everything was very easy check in and check out the staff very friendly and helpful very comfortable feel to the place 😊

The layout of the motel could be a little confusing but still loved the whole feel of the place
