As always been staying at this motel many times and never once disappointed. Room was very clean and spacious as usual. Bed was very comfortable and room has a nice view. Parking is excellent and you can park your car right in front of room. Nick the owner is very friendly and welcoming and Nick will make every effort to accomodate one’s request. Location is excellent as it is walking distance to restaurants and cafes. I have no hesitaion in recommending CQ motel for your next business or leisure trip.

The room was cosy, but spacious and very clean. 5 stars for comfort because I literally felt like I was sleeping on a marshmallow bed or floating on a cloud, and pillows were dreamy soft. Perfect rest after a long day of travel. Had the best sleep...once I got to sleep ( see comment re: noise) Great communication from the host also. Thank you for calling and confirming the late check in procedure. Much appreciated.

Noise - unavoidable from the patrons at the facility across the road... was rather noisey. Also could hear the neighbours either side of the room I was in, as if in the same room as them. Doesn't take away from the star rating I've given here though, just personally did not like the noise levels at all

It is a good and simple option for one night with everything essential included. We came after check-in hours and self-check-in instructions were provided right away. It was a clean room, quite a tranquil night, and a parking spot near the entrance of the room. It was a good stay for one night!

Cutlery was provided which is great, but there was no sponge or anything like this to wash it afterward.

As I had a broken foot with crutches in use, flat ground access to everything was highly appreciated - there is a nice pub (steakhouse) across the street, and all flat/on ground floor apartment with car park right in front of the room (with roof preventing rain from heavily storm) was significantly making my stay easier. Thank you

Loved everything no complaints

The coffees were amazing. The pillows and comfortable bed were amazing. The spa bath was wonderful. The reception was really kind and great to speak to. Loved the under cover carport style parking!

Honestly everything was fantastic. The only improvements i would recommend is one of those clothes drying racks for the bathroom (after you have used the pool and need to dry your clothes), and perhaps livening up the pool area to make it a little less plain. And as we stayed in the large room, perhaps a fan to help the aircon circulate the room as it took a few hours for the aircon to work. But again thats just me nit picking. Everything was wonderful and i would stay again.

Friendly welcoming guy in reception, and great location. Very comfortable bed, good layout in the room, suitable crockery and cutlery with toaster electric jug and microwave, as well as tea towel. Only thing missing was small amount of detergent. Can’t really fault anything else.

Light over mirror in bathroom could be brighter and a light over the desk area would be helpful. Otherwise everything else was brilliant.

We did not require breakfast as the facilities in the room meant that we could make our own and enjoy tea/coffee also. The room was spacious and well appointed with enough chairs for 2 people (which is always a bonus). As the en suite was also newly renovated, dispensers had been installed for hand wash etc. This is so good for reducing the use of single use plastic. The friendly receptionist recommended a restaurant which was in the Hotel directly opposite the accommodation.

The location was great with a steak house across the street for dinner. The room was roomy and comfortable. The toiletries, and other facilities were of a high standard. The staff members were friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was enjoyable and overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We would return.

The only hiccup was personal preference -the size of the pillow. I would prefer a smaller pillow and would appreciate the possibility of choice.

Big comfortable beds and pillows. Great shower, and had shaving cream, body lotion as well as soap on tap/ shampoo and conditioner!. Great sized rooms with 2 lovely chairs and coffee table as well as a big bench for other stuff (we had dinner at the bench) Great location and very friendly staff.

Highly recommend the CQ Motel, Andy and Geoff were wonderful and so very helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. We found the motel to be in a great location and we were not bothered by any noise. We had breakfast in the restaurant and loved it. We would definitely stay again.
