The little things, like the bottled water, coffee tea and biscuits, the on-site restaurant with yummy food for a worker needing a good feed. The in room facilities like microwave and toaster. Access to a laundry. Everything excellent. When one travels for work your so tied when you arrive you just need all of that. I love it there, will be back next year on my work journey.

The entire property is clean and tidy / just well kept and loved by the mangers/owners. Total credit to those who are involved in keeping so lovely.

Excellent facilities, great salt water swimming pool. The friendly staff took care of all of our needs, we booked 3 X rooms for late night check-in with no fuss, the staff made sure our keys were in a lock box, they sent out a friendly text including room instructions etc... and wifi code which when your the road driving long hours makes a world of difference

We have nothing to complain about, it was a relaxing a refreshing stay for a bunch of weary travellers, I'll definitely recommend the Gladstone Palms Motor Inn to family and friends.

This was a good, affordable, older style motel. The room was large with a double bed, fridge, jug, toaster, coffee/ tea/ milk, and basic toiletries. We booked 3 rooms for the night before heading to Heron Island. We arrived after 6.00pm and got a phone message from reception telling us our room numbers, where to find the key, and the wifi password. There were no issues with check-in or departure.

After leaving Mackay at 1pm on Mon.03.10. I arrived in Gladstone at 7.30pm. Unprepared that I might won't get accommodation for the night I searched online motel's vacancies through booking.com. Finally, I was able to reserve room at Palm Beach Motel. Although it was a short stay (1 night only*) I enjoyed clean room, comfortable queen bed, nice shower and all necessities. I also met the owner who was friendly. I booked my accommodation at the same motel on my way back to Mackay. I highly recommend Gladstone Palms Motor Inn.

We knew that their restaurant was closed but did find that a little disappointing. The room overall was clean and comfortable, though the lower chair rails need dusting. Some cold water in the fridge would have been welcome. It is good to see motels in this price range supplying a hairdryer and excellent quality loo paper.

Unfortunately, our one night stay was greatly marred by someone in the near vicinity playing very loud music with a very heavy base beat right through the night until 5am. We have no way of knowing if this was within the motel complex or nearby, but it meant an almost sleepless night.

Motel was nice and central to the things we had planned for the region. Was clean and tidy, all facilities working, pool was lovely, ac was nice for the hot days and nights, quiet for a long weekend stay.

Pamphlets for local places to get food, but a quick google is just as effective

the location was great. Had a drama with the air conditioning which was fixed as soon as it was reported. Rooms were clean. a little dated but great value for the price. I will definitely stay there again.

The rooms are quite large with just about everything you would need. Love that there is a microwave.

I like to clean up after myself so I would like to see some dishwash detergent and a tea towel so I could wash up before I leave.
