Booked this motel as we were attending a wedding that afternoon. Requested an earlier checkin, arrived even earlier and both our rooms were available. Bed and pillows soooooo comfortable and a large shower, which was great. Girl at reception was lovely, so friendly and accommodating.

We attended a wedding, arrived back at approximately midnight. There were a number of other guests outside of motel and then also running through the halls yelling etc. A number of rooms had 'Do Not Disturb' signs on them, but they were obviously ignored. People were sitting in their doorways of their rooms talking loudly. We went to our rooms, could still hear the running and yelling. At approximately 1am, there was loud banding on what seemed like next door to us, guest yelling out 'open the door, let me in' for about 5 minutes. Then the running and yelling started again at 6am in the morning. We spoke to another guest in the carpark when we check out early, not impressed with the disrespect and loudness of the guests.

I liked the keys drop off box, working appliances, hot water, carpeted, comfy beds, light placement, cupboard space, decor, room size, balcony, air con, toiletries, fresh towels, clean room. Liked the bottled water, tea/coffee,kettle. Proximity to RSL, restaurants, Grand View Hotel, Ferry terminal, shopping centre, train station, Cleveland Point, Raby Bay.

I did not like all the soft drinks as my 3 year old saw them and got into them, all hyped up. Juice would be a healthier option. The dining table and chairs were too high, the entertainment unit was too low for the tv and there wernt enough pillows to prop ourselves up to see the tv so we had to use the extra blanket as a pillow. The tv was too small and should be wall mounted as there was sooo much wall space there. Needs insect screens on door and sheer curtains. The armchair needs to be a recliner and should be wider. No free wifi? No bathtub, my 3 yo fit through the balcony railing bars so they should be a smaller gap.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel close to facilities and shopping. Easy to get to.

Although close to several cafes it would have been nice not to have had to go out for breakfast. Being able to access a simple continental breakfast at the hotel would have been a bonus.

The Comfort Hotel is located right near Cleveland's shopping precinct. Lovely, clean, and bigger than normal rooms. Loved the elegant bedroom suite including the chaise chair & desk. The renovated bathroom was particularly good. Friendly staff & giving us late check out was appreciated.

Bed was slightly harder than I was used to. Having another curtain in front of the heavy drapes would have given more privacy if opening them up as our ground floor room faced the main road.

Location was excellent. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. Staff friendly and responsive to requests. Loved the mattress topper. Room size was great, plenty of space. Great to have a complimentary laundry with washing machine and dryer.

While main bed was very comfortable, the single bed’s springs were hard and easily felt. Bathroom needs a bit of polishing up. Not a fan of the uht milk cups - a small carton of fresh milk would have been much nicer. And maybe a biscuit or two?

The room was spacious, and immaculate. The bed was so comfortable - I was asleep within moments of my head hitting the pillow. The location is fantastic - within walking distance of shops and the jetty.

Cannot fault any part of my stay.

Close to the docks,walking distance from the shops, young family-friendly and free access to a pool. A generally family-friendly budget hotel, it's not a 5-star hotel by any means but it's still a good stay.

Only real issue was the upper hallway had abit of a smell.

The room was a good size. The bed very comfortable. The shower excellent. Was walking distance to the shops & the venue we were attending.

Could have had a bit more bench space in the bathroom. Don't like the toilet paper being behind you. No cutlery or plates & bowls, although you could ask for them.

Quiet when it needed to be. Easy access to shops for supplies. Room large and very clean. Very comfortable bed.

Our only negative was no easy access to plugpoints for charging phones. Had to use microwave plug point.
