Loved the location, being close to the beach was fantastic for the kids and also having access to the pool at the accommodation was an added plus, loved laying around the pool in with the sanctuary atmosphere it was very relaxing. Until the planes flew over 😅 I'd definitely be back though.

Only thing I can comment on was the cleaning, while it was tidy we still had to wash dishes when getting them out of the cupboard as they were still dirty and/or dusty, showers definitely need to be cleaned better including soap dishes, for people staying for a number of nights it would have been nice to have had extra dishwashing liquid, tablets for the dishwasher and extra toilet paper.

Loved the location- bus stop just a few doors down, across the road from the beach and playgrounds, and a brilliant corner shop with pretty much everything you could need. Staff were also amazing and so accommodating, with excellent local recommendations, and truly doing anything they could to help our stay. We were only here for 3 nights but would happily stay longer next time.

It was a little noisy thanks to the planes overhead and nearby roadworks. Nothing that some earplugs couldn't help with, though. I struggled to think of a negative- we will be back!

We enjoyed the location, the ease of getting in and around the area. The unit was very functional, and definitely met our needs in that regards. Also great because we were with another family (over from Scotland) and there were good facilities for us to congregate together - bbq area was excellent, accommodation was roomy enough for us to dine together in one or other of the rooms.

Our apartment could have been cleaner - the patio looked like it hadn't been cleaned. We would have liked to have proper detergent - so ended up buying some and leaving it in the unit for the next person to hopefully use - to us it stands to reason that if you provide good cleaning materials, then we can clean your place more effectively. Some of the plates that we got out of the cupboard needed to be cleaned (I don't think we're overly fussy). Same comment really for the washing machine - providing good washing powder would be better in our minds too. The fact we were under the flight path was a bit of a shock to us at first (they come in very low), however it didn't actually affect us - it was quiet in the nights and early mornings, and we were exploring most of the other times.

It was school holidays and I was staying in my own, that out the personal first up, however it was the perfect location for what I needed their very worth it. The manager gave a full on-boarding, including evacuation instructions. He was very welcoming and friendly. When he knew why I was there he also took the time to show me on a local map exactly how to get to where I needed to go. The apartment was large and spacious, very clean, the full sized kitchen had all the necessaries and more. Well maintained grounds.

Nothing really, it was a little pricey for one, is all. The bird sanctuary amusement park ride right next door was noisy, however I wasn't in my room much through the day, so it wasn't a huge problem, and it was very quiet at night.

The property is in a great location, close to the beach and short walk to Tugun and the local surf clubs which have meals. The Currumbin Bird Sanctury is just around the corner. The pool is beautiful and clean and one of the nicest resort pools we have used plus there is a spa pool. The management team were super helpful and friendly. Due to our longer stay we had 2 rooms, and older style room faced the pool the other which was nicely refurbished faced the lake which was also lovely. The rooms are quiet.

As each apartment is owned by an individual owner, not all rooms are created equal.

Location Great. It suited all our needs. Amazing Pool and vibe there. Car Parking A1. Would stay again for sure. Real family friendly. Enjoyed the outdoor flow, the property was ideal for us.

It was great we had two bathrooms, but the bathroom with ensuite the shower was not very good and often ran cold. Also an odd odour from the bathroom. But TBH wouldn't stop me staying again. Just some small things to be improved on. The Air Con was great when you could get the fans to work, they were also tricky.

I loved this place from the minute I walked up the palm lined path. With an amazing lagoon pool and spa, it was truly well named a sanctuary. Jon was very helpful and amiable. A terrific place to relax.

There was plane noise from the nearby Gold Coast airport but seeing as that is how I arrived it would be hypocritical to moan. As for the 7am leaf blower....

The pool area is really good - selection of pools (lagoon/kids/large spa), really well landscaped with a couple of bbq overlooking. Room was large and comfortable. We were given a free upgrade to a three bedroom which was much appreciated. Washing machine and dryer in room is always useful with a family of five. Could easily walk to beach, currumbin sanctuary, or the market on the corner.

Great location for walking to everything. Nice and quiet, you can hear the waves and the birds. Obviously being close to the airport you get the planes too but these were somewhat a novelty and didn't ruin anything for us. The pool and leafy surrounds are also great.

The stairs were a bit of a pain lugging luggage but wouldn't deter me returning. It would be great if there was a little bit of milk in the fridge for when you arrive for a tea/coffee.

The pool was amazing and open till 9pm and the spa was so warm. The owner is so friendly and the apartments were wonderful! There was even salt and pepper in the cupboard, they have thought of everything down to tomato sauce and pool noodles. Definitely be back, we didn't want to leave.

Beautiful view from the top floor but the stairs were a killer!
