You can't beat The Rocks for location. The beach is directly across the road, and a variety of coffee shops, restaurants and the fantastic Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary just a short stroll away. Also easy access to the local bus network. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean with a 5 star view stretching across Currumbin Beach, the Surf Living Club and on towards Coolangatta. We made use of the BBQ and pool, both clean and set amongst beautiful landscaping. The Rocks was busy with holiday makers and residents alike but was tranquil and relaxing. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Small gripe but the towels provided in the apartment covered us in fluff after every shower. The Foxtel was also very hit and miss, mostly non-functioning. The construction work ongoing at the base of the Resort is also something to be mindful of during Monday-Friday, 9/5. It didn't bother us too much but I'd say they are still early days into the build.

Location was great- right across the street from the beach, nearby cafes and restaurants and were great too. The apartment was really big, lots of room and well equipped. Bed in master suite was really comfortable, and views were fantastic.

They only supply enough essentials (tea bags, soap etc for the first night) which I think is a bit stingy for the price we paid. It meant a trip to the supermarket for basics like tea bags, body wash & milk which we could have done without during a busy weekend. We also found on on checkout that there were no extra garbage bags provided which made it very hard to take out the rubbish we accumulated over 3 nights (rubbish removal was requested by management). Small things like that would have made the experience a 10 rather than a 9 for us.

The property is in an amazing location and has great facilities - the kids liked the pools and spa especially. The apartment has fantastic views and is calm and relaxing, especially compared to the craziness of Surfers Paradise. The 2 bed apartment was really big and easily fit our family of 4. The beds were very comfortable.

The apartment wasn't very clean, we found underwear in the washing machine, a used face mask by the bed, caked on grime around the doors, sheets that were clean but stained. The apartment also needs a refresh, carpets, furniture etc. And the doors leading to the balcony need to be replaced as they've corroded and are hard to open.

Magnificent ocean view, albeit took time to become used to constant ocean noise. Humidity high, no air conditioning, but three fans created a good level of comfort. Nice to be able to open windows and doors of Unit. Instructions for entry and exit of basement car park plus garbage and recyclable material would have been appreciated, together with instructions for appliances. Appreciated the availability of Fox TV, washing machine, dish washer, and a well equipped kitchen. Easy walk to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Elephant Rock. Tommy's restaurant almost next door and Currumbin Surf Club next to Elephant Rock provided great food. Plenty of interesting activity brochures available at reception.

Ensuite toilet seat needs to be replaced and the toilet bowl needs attention! Otherwise, Unit was clean and well appointed.

The location and apartment complex are lovely and proximity to the beach is sensational. The apartment is older style which means heaps of space. The bedrooms could do with a refresh but clean and comfy. Newish kitchen was great overlooking the ocean. Huge deck and sun lounge chairs.

Could do with some fresh carpet and new linen for bedrooms.

The view from the balcony was awesome and the size of the balcony gave access from living room and bedroom sliding doors. The amenities were all good including a decent mattress on the bed.

The couches had electric recliner capability, but weren't plugged in. With investigating, components for the plugs were missing. Also there is no heating or air conditioning. During this time of year it's not really necessary for either but my partner was cold on the first night of stay and had to rug up. There is also only a pedestal fan in the bedroom.

good size unit for two, views were excellent, very comfortable aside from maintenance problems, location was excellent, staff were very helpful in providing dry towels, that was the only time we had a need to engage with staff but could not have been more helpful who also organised the maintenance man.

Few maintenance problems, very poor weather with heavy rain, washing machine not working & dryer did not dry clothes. Maintenance man fixed washer but too late for me, will help next occupant. Dryer was a cheap brand euromaid did not expect much from it. Had one towel in for two hours came out still wet, not enough ventilation in the cupboard. Security screen double door unable to lock, had to lift the door up to close. cleaning staff would have known. Floor tiles were in need of a good mop. I advised the maintenance man about door said would fix later so hopefully this has been done.

Great proximity to the sea and beach. Quiet roads. Beautiful open plan living / kitchen area with large balcony sliding door. Property has lush landscaping and a superb swimming pool and deck chair arrangement. The few shops and restaurants/cafes open since COVID are very enticing with very helpful service. I love the laid back village atmosphere. No clubbing here!!

Qld is very humid and there is not always a cooling on shore breeze. The living areas / bedroom could be more a more comfortable temperature and less sticky at times, with aircon or at least ceiling fans please.. Not so in love with the floor fans provided.

location- right across the beach! comfortable bed and couches very clean good views very spacious

no air con! room gets too hot in summer no blinds to block the sun only shutters no room/ cleaning service have to pay to hire a beach/ pool towel would be nice if the resort had bikes/ scooters/ boogie boards that residents are able to utilise- seeing that they are a beach resort and that the closest shops are a 50 min walk away

We loved the view, the location and the pool. The apartment was clean and spacious.

The supplies seemed stingy (e.g soap, dishwashing tablets) and some of the bathroom features were old or broken. It would have been good to know that the tennis court was being resurfaced and not available.
