This was an absolutely amazing hotel to stay in I loved everything about it, -it had an upstairs bedroom for the parents -with ensuite -aircon upstairs and downstairs -massive mirrors in every room -ceiling fans in kids rooms -with remote for the light and fan -hair dryers in both bathrooms -washing machine -dryer -heated pool -heated spa -fridge/freezer -dishwasher -vacuume -broom -Coat-hangers -iron -Netflix -clear tv -CLEAN LINEN ABSOLUTELY IMMACULATE

Hahahaha walking up the stairs to my room but the amount of food we all ate it ended up being a blessing to walk the stairs in saying that there weren’t that many stairs hahaha

The location was excellent. Pool & BBQ area were always clean and we used them quite a bit. Short walk (15 seconds) to the beach once you were on ground level.

Apartment 39, 3 bed garden/ pool view was a little tired and could do with some upgrading. It seems they have started with the bathrooms & then didnt do anything else in the apartment. The apartment was much cleaner when we left it than when we entered it. For the money thats charged the unit should be in better condition, furniture/carpets are old and dated and at minimum could do with a good clean. Having said that, the grounds are well kept by Peter who always seemed to be busy pottering about doing things.

Just about everything! We had our annual families holiday involving 17 people so it’s not easy sorting out a place that meets a diverse range of needs ranging from grandparents to toddlers! But Sanctuary Resort fit the bill well, so much so that we’re already thinking of returning next year. Great position close to the beach, surf club, cafes and of course Currumbin Sanctuary. Highly recommended.

Showers were hard to adjust to get a good balance of hot and cold but everything else was fine!

Location was great. View of beach and only a few steps and in the ocean. Also 300m approximately to surf club for good meal. Great cafe short walk away also. We liked that parking was easy access to the unit also. Very helpful man showed us to unit and parking. Also it felt like a safe and secure place.

The fan in the second bedroom wasn't working. This room was very hot even with air conditioning on.

The location is brilliant. It is a quiet area of the Gold Coast very accessible to the public transport. The beach is beautiful, lovely walks along the Jubilee Pathway and 2 minutes walk to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and close to the Currumbin Surf Lifesaving Club and Elephant Rock, good for whale watching. Small village shop opposite the resort and other shops 10 minutes walk to Tugan.

Location! We had a wedding so no kids with us this time but we will definitely come back with the family. You are literally on the beach, but also have the pool if you want. The apartments are spacious and comfortable and you could put the kids to bed and still have some space to relax or watch a movie at night. Plus, few minutes walk to cafe/general store. I honestly couldn’t fault it. Thanks for a great stay -from freezing Melbourne!!

Peter was very responsive. Beautiful location. Nice bright, clean and friendly. Great location, amazing beach, sensational view. Close vicinity to the Currumbin Wild Life Park, and places to eat out.

Limited towels, washing powder, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, dishwashing tablets. We stayed 8 days and the room was only serviced once and was needing floors done and towels swapped more often given the limited supply. WiFi was very weak, and it was a working holiday so this caused some issues and the phone coverage was also poor to hotspot from.

This location was excellent. We did not rent a car but did rent a surfboard. It was a bit much to carry the surfboard to Currumbin Alley each day. If you rent a board, rent it by the day to avoid the trek. The location to Currumbin beach was much closer for families with little ones. Having the little market across the street was a lifesaver for the first day.The place had almost everything. Even Coffee and tea with cream and sugar was left for us for the first morning.We bought some laundry detergent at the market for the washer/dryer an absolute life saver at the beach). The place was spotless! The pool was toasty warm for the first day of winter. The walk to the wildlife sanctuary was 100 feet! One weekend night the wildlife Sanctuary is closed to the animals but open to food trucks with quite a variety. There are busses every 10 minutes to take to town, to coolengatta and up to Surfers paradise for $10/day. The cost of one Uber ride! They even accommodated late night check in if you let them know in advance. I really cannot think of a negative! It was an awesome week!

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to drive down when you needed do any of the great theme parks or activities. Also bonus you could walk to the currumbin sanctuary and you are literally a few steps away from the beach. Peter the manager kept the resort always very clean and was friendly. Was a great stay and we will be back

everything was great. the only thing that was confusing was the booking on booking.com. The way it seemed was that we would pay upon arrival when we selected “pay at property” but i was direct debited on the day of booking
