It's the second time we stayed at this resort, and it was as pleasant as the first time. The location is amazing, the unit was clean and tidy, and the mattress was really comfortable. For those who love planes, like my husband and I, it's a great spot!

The unit where we stayed this year was not so well decorated and equipped as the one we stayed before. I guess it's because each unit belongs to a different owner. Anyway, I'd suggest the owners may consider a fresh coat of paint, replacing the beige/cream with a more contemporary palette of colour. Also, the shower bath is a bit dangerous for an elderly person or someone with reduced mobility. I'd suggest replacing the bath with a walk-in shower.

Golden Riviera is a great complex of apartments absolutely beachfront at Tugun with a lovely warm pool and bbq facilities. The apartments are spacious and well equipped. The staff are helpful and efficient. Parking is included. Across the road from the apartments are cafes, a tapas, IGA is 200m up the road. Close to Gold Coast airport but aircraft noise is not a factor. Would recommend and stay again.

We loved that the resort is so close to the beach with easy access to the beach and to the local Tavern for meals and the local IGA and other cafes and shops so close within a 5min stroll. We loved that the pool was easily accessed and the premises were so clean and tidy with lovely neat gardens and a real tropical feel about it. The manager at reception was so friendly and helpful we felt like we were friends. You could lounge by the pool or relax on one of the easy chairs spotted throughout the gardens and read a book, or have a bbq at one of their two designated areas all shaded and cozy. There are plenty of buses going by at the bus stop 3mins away that go to Coolangatta and back up to Surfers and other areas. The area remains unspoilt and relaxing. You could hire pushbikes for the day and go off and explore on the bikeway/pedestrian pathway. You can even get your groceries delivered from the closest Woolworths! We can't wait to go back. It's our happy place and we love it.

I don't think there was anything we didn't like. It was all amazing and peaceful.

We have always enjoyed our stay at golden riveria Howe ever this time the unit ( 55) was very close to the road and was noisy at night And bathroom tiles slippery and a bit dangerous with the need to climb in and out of bath with half open glass door to shower But apart from this we loved our stay Will choose a different unit next time

The location is exceptional, right on the beach, a surf club that serves lunch and dinner as well as drinks, a great arrangement of restaurants and cafes just across the street as well as a service station and an IGA all within a very short walk. The apartment was quite spacious with a stunning garden and pool with spa, underground parking with allocated spot. Stairwell right to your front door. This place is second to none! Spacious kitchen, microwave, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, large fridge and lots lots more. I can’t recommend this beautiful place enough. We will be back whenever we are at the Gold Coast.

What’s not to like, this place is amazing and has everything at your fingertips

We really loved the location. So close to the beach - no roads to cross. The surf club was 1 min walk away for great casual family dining. We also walked to Currumbin surf club for dinner. Kirra was also close by. The gardens were all so well maintained and cared for. Not a weed in sight. Pool area was also immaculate. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the sunrises and and afternoon walks on the beach which was never busy. Just perfect.

My one wish is that i could find the pods that we could use in the coffee machine as they were not the usual pods. I kept looking in shops but could not find. Would have been great to have that option.

Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic apartment with comfortable furniture and beds. Clean and spacious and secure. Handy for walks along the esplanade. Excellent value for money and would stay again.

Location of our bedroom (not all rooms face the same way) next to busy GC Highway intersection and the end of the GC airport runway made it quite noisy for sleeping. Heavy drapes instead of vertical blinds would help reduce noise - and lights - from intruding quite as badly.

I can't recommend this apartment highly enough. The staff went the extra mile, stayed up to greet us, despite us running late and struggling with communicating due to travelling. The rooms were very well furnished, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The facilities were exceptional. Excellent ease of access to and from car parking facilities too. The pool was well maintained and clean - and warm! This apartment is in an excellent location for the beach and accessing shops and restaurants.

Right on the beach, right next to several restaurants, super clean rooms, and pretty garden/bbq and pool area. Michelle on reception was a delight. We happened to book with elderlies without reading the details that there is no lift, and we got the room at 3rd floor , but Michelle was super considerate and accomodated us immediately into a ground floor room. She made sure my parents got direct easy and safe access to the room. Five star to her. They also rented bikes, which was awesome. we took long rides with beautiful ocean views both days. The resort has direct access to the biking/walking track next to the ocean. Super convenient.

I really wish they had a lift too.

Very happy with the accommodation, There was everything in it that we needed. The pool was superb and the fact that Tubun was a little quieter then being in the hustle and bustle of the main part of the Gold Coast, made it a perfect end to our holiday

I was disappointed on the day of leaving where i had my morning planned out to be able to use the pool at 7am when open but i was unable to use it as it was still being cleaned. Unfortunately by the time the maintenance man finished at 7.30 it was too late as i had to stay on schedule with getting hire car back and getting to airport. Also it would have been good if Gym opened earlier too.
