For personal reasons we made two separate bookings at Iconic Kirra Beach resort and this was the second apartment. Like the first apartment which I have already rated as excellent this was also fantastic. This was on a higher floor with a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately my husband had an accident which required surgery during the middle of this stay. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, in particular the night manager who met the paramedics who attended to transport my husband to hospital. Due to the accident we needed to extend our stay by an additional two days until he was safe to fly and reception were very supportive in booking us into another apartment for the remaining two days.

Everything was very good.

We stayed in the 3-bed oceanfront view apartment on the 4th floor of the building. This apartment exceeds the images in the listing (I have high standards and was very impressed). It is really nice and clean and super modern. It was great for our family of 4. It is directly across the road from Kirra Beach with sweeping ocean views all the way up to Surfers Paradise. At the base of the building are several restaurants and cafes and a bottle shop. The apartment was quiet apart from some light road noise. A small supermarket was about 100m walk away. Probably about a 15-minute walk to the main Coolangatta shops but we had everything close by that we needed. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We also had two carparks available to us in the basement of the building.

Nothing - would highly recommend this as a place to stay and would gladly stay there if we are ever in Coolangatta again.

The apartment was spacious, airy, clean and comfortable. It was well appointed and we were very comfortable. The balcony off the kitchen has a view to the beach (not the main view), while most of the apartment looks to the hinterland. We had a great weekend and would stay again.

Very minor - the vestibule to the adjoining apartment can be noisy as doors open and close. Also, there is considerable light "spill" from the pool at night so if you're a light sleeper, take your eye masks :) But really, the flat is lovely and we really enjoyed it.

Convenience to Restaurants and cafes and beach were excellent.

The door to the spare room was not secure ( rattling ), therefore was banging during the day and night. Ended up leaving the door open. Called reception just after 5pm for Pool / Beach towels and was advised couldn't help us until the following morning when someone was again at reception. Unusual as your Pool is open until 7pm. The second Toilet full flush is continually sticking, therefore not shutting the water valve off.

the staff were excellent, i have a large car and the spot that was given for the apartment was a little tight. they gave me another location with no hesitation (parking is in a secure underground carpark at hotel). the staff are friendly and helpful. the location is across from the beach ,nice, a little walk (20 min ) to main centre, but there are local restaurants. the apartment is modern, spacious , 2 bathroom, great kitchen and a lovely courtyard. loved it . the big test is would you stay again -- yes no Hesitation ,

only thing would be the location from the main shops , but not really a big deal.

The apartment was bright and tidy. Everything you needed. Came with a few basic necessities: washing powder for a few loads, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. very cozy and comfortable for our family. close to shops and restaurants. would come back for sure.

It would have been nice to have a few extra towels for our family of four. we only had the four, which we had to use for 6 days. there were no beach towels, so we had to buy them. It would have been helpful to have them supplied being right on the beach and having a pool on property.

The apartment faces the beautiful ocean and has a long balcony expanding from the living room to both bedrooms. Having breakfast on the balcony and lying in bed watching the ocean through the glass wall window is how the vacation should be. The kitchen has ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, stoves, pots, plates.... all you need to make it feel like home. The decoration is modern and neat. I love the beach where the apartment is located, not only because of the white sands plus blue water but also because of not many tourists around.

It is a little bit noisy during the day due to the construction downstairs. Well, it should be temporary.

Nice and MODERN unit with well setup Kitchen and washing machine/dryer allowed us to clean our clothes. Loved the pool on a hot day was nice and clean and refreshing. Right in the middle of restaurants and across the road from the beach, the LOCATION was absolutely perfect and they accommodated request for changes to our planned stayt.

Wind howls through the door making a ghostly wind noise through the night so I don't know if the Door-Seal(s) are damaged or need to be stronger but we felt like this was a bit unusual, but also likely as we were on a very high floor too.

The view was stunning. I would totally recommend getting a room with panoramic view if possible 10th floor or above and try and get the sea view if you can. Apartment was spot less and provided all facilities needed for put stay. Kirra Beach itslef is also beautiful and with the Hinterland national park behind the Iconic you could not be in a better place to explore this lovely part of Australia.

There really was nothing about the resort to not like. The only criticisms I would make is that the out of hours contact details weren't clear on the front of the building. We have experienced it in the pats when our entry cards have failed and as there is no after hours reception desk there needs to be a clear facility for this eventuality. It never happened on this occasion but we were not sure of what to do if it did.

Everything - it was a beautiful space, very convenient and the staff went above and beyond. I loved our room and the bathroom lighting was exceptional for makeup application. The kitchen was well laid out and well appointed. The living/lounge very nice as was the second bedroom and bathroom. All linen was lovely as were the beds. Will definitely return again. Our father stayed opposite in the other hotel managed by yourselves and I feel we got the best hotel so thank you so much for accommodating us.
