Our unit was ground floor, as requested, which I love. The pool was right outside our door and that made for convenience and a good view. Our unit had a large front balcony which was great for meals or for just watching the world go by and enjoying the sun and the breeze. We also had a balcony off our bedroom which allowed extra space and air circulation. The unit was clean, furnished well and had a great layout. The kitchen I especially liked as it had everything you needed and was easy to manage. The surf club was just up the road a couple of minutes walk and was good for meals and a drink. Great views. The beach was also just across the road. Everything was within walking distance, though the supermarket was a bit of a walk for us as we are not young. However, we managed to buy food and alcohol supplies for our stay at Tweed Heads and just Ubered it back to the unit. The bus to everywhere was a minute walk away. Major construction works were underway across from and beside us but we were warned about this when we booked. It was noisy but not overly so and actually was fascinating to watch while sitting on the front balcony.

Unfortunately our plumbing played up while we were there but this was dealt with swiftly.

Location is great. Apartment very nicely renovated

I was expecting access to a third bedroom but it was locked, I was hoping for my 2 teenagers not to have to share a room for once. Bit of false advertising really as there was no mention of it being locked. The apartment was mostly clean except for the floors which were really filthy. Also if you have a larger car the underground parking is very hard to get into.

The complementary upgrade was amazing! (To the beach house villa) The staff were very accommodating and lovely. The late check in was a breeze. We appreciated having access to the pool and spa at the Kirra palms holiday apartments aswell.

Haha I didn’t mind but the kids didn’t like all the stairs after the first day. Nothing else to say!

Everything was great as far a cleanliness, location and value for money considering we booked last minute and had no idea of what we were getting on the New Year week-end. Balcony overlooking pool was well used. Thanks

Everything was great except no lift and having to use the numerous steep stairs. A little more cleaning product and toilet rolls would have been good as we had to buy more of everything... especially dish washing liquid and toilet rolls.

Very convenient location - 200m to beach and local shops/restaurants. Lots more shops and restaurants 10 minutes walk away at Coolangatta. Airport just 5 minutes away too! Unit is a good size - plenty of space to spread out. Parking in basement was convenient.

Bedroom was difficult to cool down - just a ceiling fan. Air con unit was in lounge area, so another one in bedroom would have been ideal.

Apart from the noise of nearby construction which we had been warned about, I could not have asked for a better holiday. The apartment, location, beaches, restaurants, shops transport and weather were fabulous

from the moment we got to the apartment desk we were greeted by a very helpful and happy staff member who informed use about our apartment the complex and where the shops could be found, then he upgraded our rooms because we had booked last minute which made our stay even better . the location was perfect and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach.

We loved the location of this property, as well as the fantastic pool area. Easy walk to the beach, great shops nearby and we spent a lot of time in the pool and spa. We also met several really friendly families who were staying there at the same time as us which was so lovely!

In general the property is aging. It is well maintained and looked after but it is aging. Many parts could be upgraded but also, it was at the level we expected for the price. There is construction directly in front of and beside the property and the management were open about this - it didn’t impact our stay at all and in fact, currently it has opened up spectacular ocean views! This won’t always be the case I’m sure but for us it was fine.

The male staff member was so nicest person I’ve ever dealt with when it comes to checking into a hotel ! Helpful & even offered to help with my bags . Rooms were clean , we had a lovely view of the pool, we were in walking distance of everything and we had a great time at the Kirra

Construction around the (but the team were transparent about this prior to arriving) and the price - generally prices for accom have increased exponentially
