Our stay was only an overnight while doing a road trip. The room was comfortable & clean with adequte kitchen facilities eg toaster & electric jug, crockery, fresh milk, butter & condiments to make breakfast. The receptionist was welcoming, friendly and hospitable.

Although we telephoned to advise we could arrive just after 6pm we were advised that reception would be available later. So check in was easy & although we were told dinner had to be ordered by 6:30pm we were 10 minutes late in getting to the restaurant after freshening up in our room. The manager was curt in telling us it was not acceptable to order after time. We understood his reasons but it wasn't that we were overly late or a large group. We offered to go elsewhere but were served our choosen meal which was good.

The rooms were a good size. I liked that they provided a toaster in your room. The staff were friendly . No fault of the facility but during our stay there were power outages but they notified us of this when we checked in

I booked 3 rooms for this stay. Only 1 of the rooms didn't have a bin outside and there was a baby so we had no where to put dirty nappies except in the little bin under the sink . We were in and out a fair bit and I didn't ask if we had some place to put nappies seen as no outside bin in that room.

we booked this hotel for my son who was doing a weeks prac at the uni, it was convenient as it was walking distance. In my dealings with the hotel prior to the trip it was great, they were very helpful. As my son is on the spectrum, all be it high functioning, it was important I find him a hotel that was going to be accomodating and comfortable for him.I thought this hotel was going to suit.

During the week, due to walking to the uni and back my sons shoes fell apart. When checking out he asked the reception for a piece of tape to put around his shoes. After the gentleman gave him the piece of tape he asked for $3.00 and said “ nothing is free”. After paying $666 on accommodation alone, I Believe this is rude and petty. My son was going to stay at your hotel for every prac he had over the next 3 years. I’m sorry but that $3.00 just cost you thousands.

Quiet, Friendly, Clean, Comfortable and close to Restaurants and Shopping.

As we were placed in a very comfortable Disabled unit which was very good and roomy, As a suggestion please place plates on a lower shelf and the power points near the bed would be difficult for a disabled person to access being under a shelf and not easy to get at. Just a couple of suggestions to maybe help people less fortunate then ourselves.

I Like that this is a family owned motel, very clean and no pressure, very quiet place and having the water milk and condiments filled every day just made the stay that much better. will always use the please when in Rocky

Everything from arriving at Reception to the quality of the room to the service at the restaurant and the quality, quantity and cost. The restaurant manager was not at the desk on our arrival and he followed us out the door to say thank you. What service.

We have stayed at the Capricorn before earlier last year and the management have spent some money and time with improvement's which has helped , the location suits us as we live in Cairns and it's an easy leave as the location is on the North side of Rockhampton which is also offering more as a stop-over

Very good sized room with all the facilities you could want. The room was very clean and very comfortable. We were running very late and not able to get to the location before the office closed so I rang to let them know. The staff were very courteous and arranged for the key to be left for us.

Really good size room, bed was very very comfortable. Lovely outlook from the room onto patio & garden area.

We had no dislikes to anything, but just a suggestion, the wine glasses could be bigger.

It was very nice to find butter,jams and other spreds in the fridge it. We had a toaster and a microwave. So helpful. Thanks
