True Blue Motor Inn

It was an older Motel and badly in need of a refurbishment; yet having said that the beds were comfy, we came in too late and left too early to do anything but sleep. We loved it, it was like sleeping at Grandmas House ( said in the nicest way possible) And we give you a True Blue 100% 👍 for the Staff, they, were Fantastic. Very cheerful, accommodating and attentive. Hubby and I had crumbed steak with fresh veggies and mushrooms sauce. Every morsel was delicious and the meal size was huge as well, but we ate just about everything.

We didn’t like just staying one night, when we come up again it will certainly be for a longer stop over.

Amanda from True Blue couldn't do enough for us. When there was a mix-up with our booking she worked tirelessly to accommodate us either at True Blue or another hotel or motel. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff at this motel and it would be our first choice for accommodation in Rockhampton every time. We ended up being able to stay there due to the flexibility of another guest and Amanda's beyond expected efforts to see that we were not disadvantaged. Unusually considerate customer service 5 stars!

It was quiet considering how close it is to the highway. Large undercover parking. Restaurant meals well priced, good size & steak so tender & tasty. Staff very pleasant & accommodating. Room was basically clean.

We stay at True Blue Motor Inn every time we travel south. This is the first time we were a little disappointed in our room. The curtains were hanging off the rails. Light tubes missing from lights over bed. Soft chair in room was stained & sagging in seat & arm rests. Air con struggled. This room was showing signs of tiredness.

Travelling with my puppy (Toy Cavoodle), you need to fit "dog friendly" places to stay. True Blue Motor Inn in Rockhampton has to be one of the best puppy friendly motels we have come across. Our room had a fully fenced "back garden" for my puppy to explore inside and outside freely and safely. The location was great, the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the room was very dog friendly. Thank you True Blue Motor Inn staff !!!

it was everything we needed. I loved that there was a back area to the rooms so we didn’t have to deal with people smoking outside. it was super comfortable and I was really happy we could order dinner and breakfast.

Due to having babies in car and being on road all day would have been nice to have a quick check in considering all I needed was the keys (I waited for almost 10 minutes as lady was talking to other customers and although there was another person there for some reason she wasn’t able to help), this put a negative start to an otherwise positive experience.

Super dog friendly, loved the little fenced yard and easy access to the hose. Good water pressure, clean, decent towels. Could park right in front of my room and wide parking space (undercover). lovely reception staff.

Minor things, would stay again regardless. Wish list: - no carpet. - full crockery and cutlery in the room rather than asking from reception. - full size fridge. - shower with the head on one of the hose things. - could not connect to the google chromecast in the room but this is likely on me.

everything really , couldn’t fault anything . the pricing , Position, food, facilities, comfortability, service for second to none. The access to having big area parking for big trailers caravans and camper trailers was such a relief everything was really quite perfect after a nine hour trip on the road in heavy rain very cold conditions it was lovely to actually pull up at the motel be able to not stress about the parking, have a nice long deep hot bath in a lovely heated very comfortable bedroom that was nice and roomy then the added bonus was we could either have our very five-star meals bought to our rooms or enjoy the comfort area of the restaurant. After having a few drinks and meals with great friends we then retired back to a very warm room for a extremely comfortable good night sleep. The brekkie in the morning was beautifully cooked exactly the way we had ordered, great access for people who did need to smoke in a covered area from the weather which at that time we stayed was freezing cold and very very wet.

My daughter left her favourite pillow there, within half an hour of checking out I had a call from one of the staff to say we’d left it behind. Everyone I interacted with during my stay were very polite and helpful Would definitely go back

It was a little bit out of the way for us personally, but that is my own fault for not checking the address.

Was a basic comfortable room. Bed was comfortable. Was excellent to be able to stay in a pet friendly room as we were travelling with our small dog. The fenced in grassed area was a bonus. Was surprisingly quiet from road noise(room 13). Good size parking area.

Hot water in shower ran out quickly. The room smelt a little doggy. I had to spray my perfume to mask the smell.

Dinner and breakfast both delicious and delivered to our room, bed was very comfortable and warm (winter), our fur baby was very impressed with the grassed courtyard. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, made everything easy.

Absolutely no complaints! We would have been happy to have stayed longer, just didn’t have the time. We will be returning on our way back home.
