Casa Nostra Motel

The best motel I have ever booked. Really good building layout onsite with many unattached buildings giving greater privacy for guests. Plenty of onsite off road parking even for larger vehicles. Studio rooms are nested but still offer privacy better than most other venues. Good size studio room. Reasonable sized shopping centre about 5 min drive from motel. Very clean and fresh. Good cycling paths in proximity to motel.

Maybe a little bit too far away from CBD for some - about a 12 kilometer drive but not too bad if you plan your journeys ahead of time. Seasonal issue swooping birds in area during nesting season but ok if precautions are taken.

I never knew this place existed it is a little further out of Rocky on the North side but it has a small shopping centre close by. They are like little town houses and are very clean comfy and tidy. The beds are very comfortable, good sized smart tv even though I'm not a real tv / movie person. Friendly staff and quite hardly any road noise.

The laundry was very small for the number of cabins I think only 2 machines and 2 dryers. I had no problem when I went to use them but in busier times they might need a few more. Other than that not really a complaint just an observation.

Casa Nostra is refreshingly a motel with a difference! Individual villas set out like a little village make you feel like you’ve come to a home away from home! Park the car in it’s own little car port and through the door you find a place with all the homey things you need. Comfortable, clean and a quiet night. The bar for my expectations in motel accommodation has been raised after my experience here. Wow!

Meals are not an option, apart from a lovely little breakfast box which can be bought ahead of time. I worked around this by ordering in Ubereats. The layout of the villas and clear signage made it a simple solution!

What a pleasant surprise staying at Casa Nostra was.... A very comfortable stay in a modern, ultra clean Villa which started with the gracious and friendly greeting at reception, then given an unexpected but very appreciated upgrade from a Studio to King Villa. Just because.... Definitely top of the list!! Cannot compare to any other place I have stayed. This amazing complex offers separate dwellings for the same price as other old, tired yucky motel rooms. Value, Value Value on so many levels.

A nice quiet, central location, amenities and room were spotless and spacious. The check in process was well organized, and the villa was well prepared for our arrival, even though we arrived earlier than anticipated.

We discovered that the shower screen was not completely sealed, resulting in water leaking onto the bathroom floor when showering. When we notified management, they said they were aware of the problem, I would have thought we would have been told when we booked in so we could have prepared earlier to place a towel against the screen to prevent the water running over the bathroom floor. i would

Loved that we were given an upgrade to a two-bedroom villa on arrival. It was spacious and spotlessly clean and the management were very friendly and offered great advice about where to eat locally. The bed was super comfy and the place was very quiet at night, allowing us a good sleep on our way north. There was a well-equipped kitchen for preparing your own meals.

A coffee table in the lounge area would have been nice, as well as complementary salt and pepper sachets for those choosing to eat in.

Everything! This will definitely be my chosen accommodation for Rockhampton. It ticks all the boxes. Location, cleanliness, size, comfortability, and most importantly modern! Something that is hard to find in Rockhampton. The lady on reception was lovely and welcoming, she also gave us a complimentary upgrade to a 2xbed which our son loved having his own room and the bonus free wifi he also enjoyed. Seeing the kangaroos in the morning was our bonus.

Clean and easy for a one night stay, plus the staff were super helpful/ informative on what we can do in Rockhampton. (The lady at the front counter was the best receptionist I had ever come across, giving plenty of tips on everywhere to go for dinner and different bits and Peices about Rockhampton). Honestly thought she was the owner of the venue!

Only thing I could suggest is an extra two pillows, as we were in a queen room. But by no means ruined the overall experience.

The accommodation is highly rated in a variety of places. The main reason is probably due to the fact the facilities are newish, but they are also clean and well maintained. The other reason is Vicki, the receptionist. She was very accommodating and empathic and sorted out all the problems I had without any bother or fuss and got things done. If you stay anywhere else in Rockhampton, you will be disappointed.

Distance to town is a factor, but its only a 15-20 minute drive.

Great spot, just off the A1, perfect for our layover between Airlie Beach and Hervey Bay. Accommodation exceeded our expectations. unit was modern and clean and well thought out. Carport in front of unit ideal and there’s a pool onsite which was nice to sit out around after being in the car most of the day. Owner friendly and made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend if in the area and needing somewhere to stay. Check out Mount Archer too if in the area too…not far to drive and a nice walk with great views.
