The speed of booking was outstanding - a small issue was resolved at the front counter in less than 1 minute. The location is amazing, less that 200m from a secluded foreshore beach area. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this location.

Nothing to add here - it was everything we could have asked for and more. The initial internet search for Tin Can Bay Motel took me through a time-wasting website that told me everything except what I wanted to know: their phone number. I wish to speak to a human being not waste my time on diversionary websites.

Fabulously clean room and very comfy bed with good quality bedding and towels. Staff were helpful and very pleasant. The laundry area is welcome when you are travelling and need to freshen up a few things for the onward journey.

Other guests being noisy when they were up very early in the morning. There seemed to be very early starters every day who would chat loudly or bang doors without consideration for other guests. There is only a thin wall/window between you and the outside. If you are planning on staying here and need to be up early, please consider other guests who may not wish to be up at 5-6am! Otherwise the motel is quiet and in a peaceful location.

Very clean and recently updated. The owner / manager was very friendly and helpful when enquiring about the dolphin feeding. They supply nice cream and choc chip biscuits for your cuppa, not just the plain arnotts.

The front door slams so was woken by others in the rooms beside us. Possibly just needs a gas strut on the front doors to rectify this. Alternatively, other travelers could just be a little more thoughtful of other people sleeping.

We loved our stay, just a pity we only booked one night. Absolutely everything was perfect! Spotlessly clean room with modern decor. Beautiful garden to enjoy right outside your door. Real milk in the fridge, wonderful helpful staff. Little extras like biscuits and detailed information on activities and restaurants in the area. We look forward to a return visit 🙂

We actually stayed an extra night. The room had everything to make our stay great. A sink to wash dishes even was so much better than a basin in bathroom most have. Fresh milk was a bonus in fridge. Everything worked another bonus. Shower was nice and hot and full spray on our weary body after 3 weeks camping on K'gari (Fraser Island). Highly recommend this motel.

The room was very spacious and the surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The large windows had blinds we could use for privacy The bed was very comfortable and the pillows perfect The room included cutlery,crockery jug,toaster and microwave which made it very convenient to “ cook up” a light meal. I loved the information folder it was so thorough.

Excellent, clean rooms in a very relaxing area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They provide lots of information on the area both online on their website and printed in a guide when you're there. The rooms are equipped with everything you need. There is fresh milk for tea/coffee, which is great. Would happily book again!

Very warm welcome on arrival. Unit had obviously been refurbished - very tasteful and pleasant. Great shower. Kitchenette well provisioned with fridge/freezer. Other appliances available from office if required eg. electric frying pan. Very clean. Nice swimming pool/BBQ area.

I incorrectly booked for the wrong amount of people. When i went to retify it. They were great. Room was perfect with everything we needed. Pool was amazing for little ones. And we all had a blast on just one night off from our hectic lives. Sooo will be back! Recommended to all friends and family.
