ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AS THE DAY WAS HOT WE PUT THE AIR CON ON AND IT COOLED THE ROOM DOWN NICELY VERY TIDY AND THE COUCH WAS NICE TO RELAX IN TOO ..OH AND I DID LOVE THE BOTTLE OF REAL MILK WE GOT AT THE RECEPTION .. WHICH A LOT OF MOTELS DONT DO .. AND I THINK ITS A GREAT LITTLE TOUCH ..ALSO VERY QUIET EVEN THOUGH A MAIN ROAD OUT THE FRONT IT IS SET BACK FAR ENOUGH THAT YOU DONT HEAR THE TRAFFIC MUCH AT ALL

WITHOUT A CAR A LITTLE BIT AWAY FROM EVERYTHING BUTT ! ON THE UPSIDE THERE IS A GREAT LITTLE SHOPPING CENTRE WITH FISH AND CHIPS . INDIAN RETAURANT AND BOTTLE SHOP AND A GREAT LITTLE BAKERY FOR BREAKFAST -ALL RIGHT NXT DOOR

Although seemed older type of accommodation, room was very clean, good size, bathroom compact and workable, towels soft with fluffiness, bed comfortable, pillows also. Frig with freezer, tho small had good temperature in frig and freezer. Small shopping centre very close with choice of takeaways plus bakery from morning to mid afternoon. Warren was helpful at check in and had turned on heater to warm room prior to our arrival. Would stay there again.

Television did miss a few free to air channels.

Excellent check in after a long drive. Very pleasant owners who are clearly ready to please. The hosts were kind enough to pre warm my room on a cold and rainy day. I was very impressed with the service. Crisp sheets and pleasant window furnishings were appreciated. Local (next door) pizza, fish and chips and..... a bottle shop. Perfect!! 👍

There was nothing to complain about. Given the age of the facility and the incredible value, there was nothing that I was disappointed with.

When I arrived I wasn't expecting anything flash. But I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, well appointed, clean, nothing was broken, and the bed was comfy as! I also arrived on a near 40 degree day and the lovely owners had been in and turned the air-con on before my arrival so I walked into a cool and refreshing room after my travel. Without a doubt one of the better hotels I've stayed at, and is now my go to motel if I ever stay in Ballarat again. Thankyou!

Room very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The motel was located on a main road but there was very little traffic noise. Motel was in a good central location and handy for getting to the places we needed to go to. The bed was good and comfortable.

There were a few funny noises coming from the fridge and airconditioning at times but this is not unusual. Couldn't seem to open the windows and if we could I don't think there were fly screens.

Easily accessible. Everything I needed. Friendly staff. Even asked if I’d like some fresh milk for my drinks but I’d already bought some. I hate UHT milk so that was a nice touch! They also prewarmed my room. I’d definitely go there again on my business trip stop over.

The old air conditioner was quite noisy cutting in and out while I was trying to get to sleep but at least I was warm and toasty.

The ambassador motor inn ticks all the important boxes: Clean Comfortable Quiet We were treated kindly by the hosts who informed us of things to see and do as well as pointed us in the direction of dinner and coffee. They had put the heater on in the room for our arrival and supplied extra blankets for a cold Ballarat night. Check-in/,out was smooth and easy.

The staff and owner are very committed to the customer, the rooms are clean and tidy, and certainly fit for a three/four day stay. The location is great, near to the city but away from the bustle, near to shops if needed. At this price point this is the pick of the Ballarat accommodation choices.

Clean, tidy rooms in a quiet area so not disturbed by outside noises. Which is a bonus as we are working away in the area and on long shifts, so appreciate when the area isn't noisy. Staff are always friendly and helpful, even with late night check ins, close to our work in the area and the town centre

Our room size was very pleasing as it housed a large bed, couch, chairs and table, basic kitchen necessities. Plenty of room for us to spread ourselves and to be comfortable. The bathroom was up to date, clean and fresh. Initially concerned as many of the rooms were used by "workers / tradies" but they were straight to bed and left quietly in the morning so our concerns were totally unfounded.
