W arrived at Ower's Mill House (one of the houses at Camperdown Mill) and it was lovely but unfortunately it had a spiral staircase to the second and third floor, where the bathrooms are. My 85 yo mother could not walk up and down those stairs. We rang Narelle and she very kindly swapped us to another house where the bedrooms and bathrooms were all on one level. It was only a couple of minutes away and it was a wonderful place to stay. We would book again at Barkly Lodge. Thanks to Narelle for solving our dilemma.

Spiral staircase - not for the elderly.

The Mill was a complete surprise with character and individuality of this old mill restored. Breakfast was supplied that we were not expecting. We had a very comfortable, quiet and enjoyable stay - easily walking into the town.

A toilet downstairs and a carpet by the bed - but minor really!

I had an amazing stay with my boyfriend at The Camperdown Mill over a birthday weekend. We were very impressed by the facilities (spa bath, cooking utensils, netflix, small breakfast items provided at no extra cost). As frequent travellers around Australia, the amenities provided exceeded other dwellings of the same price range. Absolutely felt like a luxury home away from home. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, affordable getaway close to the Great Ocean Road. This place was private, spacious and had such beautiful character !

Mill is a delightful place to stay! The Vicarage was a cosy, comfortable and atmospheric place to stay. The Mill was peaceful and had great access to the sights of Camperdown centre. I will return with family to stay again. Thank you!

Booking.com did not enable crucial accessibility information about the internal stairs....poor for disability/elderly access. However the owner does include the info on the website. Booking.com please make this info easy to access!!

Sofas in lounge were very uncomfortable. Though they looked ok, you bottomed out on them when you sat down. Shower over Spa Bath: Whilst I could manage easily, older people may not be able to. Very weak WIFI

Cute sweet treats! The cleanliness was next level. The bed was superb, best pillows and spa was a decadent treat.

The breakfast was cute touch. Just didn’t like that it met “food pyramid” standard. We all know nothing beats eggs and bacon but for the price the little sugar treats were nice.

The room was clean and had everything you would need. With on line check-in and room codes provided by sms, it was efficient but a bit impersonal, there was not a sole when we arrived.

Breakfast provided was packets of cereal, a bit light on. Maybe some fruit or toast would be better.

It is a great place close to everything. It's very cosy and warm and has secure private parking off the street. The apartment was immaculate and very well presented. I would highly recommend this place.

Cannot fault anything. I would've loved to have stayed another night. Narelle was WONDERFUL to deal with.

You have to stay here to really appreciate the way that various buildings have been joined together to create this wonderful place to stay. I will definitely stay here again and again as I experience the features of each very different suite.

The accomodation was quirky & different. It was very clean & everything was provided as described including the Continental breakfast

It was very cold when we arrived so we had to wait for it to warm up. Unfortunately the toilet was on the ground floor with the bedroom above which was a bit difficult during the night. It would be no good for elderly people.
