My partner and I were out having a spontaneous weekend and decided to get a motel somewhere and just see where the weekend took us. This motel waa perfect. Everything you need. Comfortable and great price. Manny was a wonderful host and a lovely guy. And the pub attached to the motel was solid. The bartender Marie was amazing and the old locals were just sooo much fun and so welcoming. A shame the pub closed early and sadly a lot of pubs have closed down in Colac but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this motel to stay at. The proximity to everything is incredible. Thank you everyone for making our weekend away so wonderful ☺️

Location was great, very clean and very comfortable bed at a great price! Overall the room was good. Check in was quick due to pre-booking and car parks are very generous and close to the rooms for baggage. Great for a short stay.

We stayed 2 nights - first morning we had a lovely hot shower before taking off for the day. The second night however (Saturday) the motel was almost full and on the Sunday morning - NO hot water to shower in, and no one in the office to speak to about it. Would've been nice to have a couple of wine glasses in the room too! Had a couple of clean but stained old towels and had a leaky bathroom basin tap with virtually no water pressure....took a while to fill the kettle so couple of plumbing maintenance needs. Room is plenty big enough for a queen, but the spare single bed we weren't expecting or needed to have in the room stopped the door from opening.

We have stayed at this motel quite a few times over the years( booking.com are not too good with remembering things...they keep telling me I am only a no.1 Genius when we have stayed in their listed businesses DOZENS of times...never mind. Agoda are a good alternative in stead!). We again enjoyed staying here. They are in the middle of everything. Although the rooms are still the same as they always were it is still a great place to stay. Prices are excellent. And also very clean. Management are exceptional.

Just wanted to write to mention how we were treated yesterday on arrival at Colac seeking accommodation. After a weary emotional day attending a funeral at Port Campbell, driving through Colac, decided for our own safety a stop over was a must. Called in at the Colac Central and spoke to a young gentleman Gabs Chhina at reception who was most accommodating in placing us in room No 1 at a slightly reduced rate, as we always try to book direct saving costs to owners. Gabs was very helpful, friendly and most polite. After entering our room and enjoyed a coffee, ready to watch some TV to relax, unable to find any channels, called Gabs who once again was very helpful to sort things out. So would you please pass on our thanks to your employee Gabs Chhina, and trust he receives your appreciation for his efforts. We always like leaving our room clean tidy as we find it, and trust you appreciate the state in which you found our room. Thanks once again, can recommend your motel to passing traffic.

We went to Colac for a family funeral and the location of the Hotel was great we could grab a meal across the road to the local Rsl and walk back home. We were central to every thing even shopping.

They need to check to see there is enough crockery for the amount of people staying in that room, we were short in the side plates and we didn't have bowls either if we wanted to bring our own cereal. But overall very good.

The location was central and close to the convention venue I was attending. The heating worked well. Traffic noise was OK, less than I expected from the location on the main highway.

The tap over the hand basin dripped and I was not able to turn it off. The office was unattended when I dropped the key so I was not able to report it (room 2) then. As I was near the front, the noise from hotel/bistro patrons was quite loud, particularly on the Friday evening.

The staff are always friendly. We were badly let down by other accommodation cancelling on us at short notice. However, we were able to pick up a room key at Colac, go to the football in Geelong and then drive back to Colac with minimal anxiety. The bed was comfortable, the hot water good and we were back on the road early next morning.

It was a very cold, wet and dark night!!!! Yucky weather!

The Hotel was Central and easy access to other facilities

When the Hotel bar was open Thursday night it was very noisy in the beer garden, thankfully the bar was closed for the rest of the Easter Weekend. We stayed for 3 nights but our room was never checked to see if we needed toilet paper. The staff When we checked in were not up with the hotel restaurant opening hours.
