The motel is well located just out of town an easy 5 min walk to all central shopping cafes and amenity. Its been recently renovated and had THE BEST HOT SHOWER in our 2 wks on the road at numerous motels ..it was great! AC worked well n easy quiet on our hot night stay...Staff were very friendly welcoming and attentive! Car park outside our door! Bed was cosy, comfy and clean as!!!!!! The ONLY place too we stayed in whilst away were the 2 stainlrss steel large safety handles/bars beside the toilet and in the big glass shower cubicle...it was really excellent, very rare thesedays !!

Being a light sleeper as l am, the existing sliding aluminium dated windows let a bit of passing traffic noise which l hated, but luckily l had good ear plugs which did the trick! A recommendation to Double Glaze all front motel rooms facing the main road would solve this, but would be costly excercise ld say! 2 other guests next door "decided to solve the worlds problems" outside our bedroon for nearly 2 hrs until l asked them to be a bit quieter, which they kindly oblidged, but someone else might not have?

great size room ,very clean and tidy ,ample parking ...pretty comfortable bed and good location it's an older motel and not the Ritz but it's pretty well maintained and very clean so was value

it's on a busy road but pretty much no noise after 7pm ... probably only thing and it's a minor thing and wouldn't stop me from staying ..bathroom had a shower curtain I don't see those much anymore even in cheaper motels ...and lack of power points near bed ..again not major

Very very clean and can access the motel 24/7. It's on the main road coming into Castlemaine but inside the motel was extremely quiet. Updated bathroom. Good proximity to Castlemaine with free WiFi and television (not smart )Well stocked with towels, shampoo conditioner, hairdryer Tea, coffee ,kettle, toaster , microwave, iron etc.Really great value.

Nothing at all great value for money I will stay again.

We had 3 rooms for our family of 3 adults. We attended a wedding in nearby Taradale. This is a lovely old-style motel in a historic country town. All rooms were tastefully renovated. It exceeded my expectations. All rooms were very neat and clean. All the rooms were large and comfortable. Lots of green space. The Motel is located within walking distance of the center of town and all amenities. Reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The beds were comfortable. Free wifi was fast and reliable. The motel is close to the cafes and restaurants of Castlemaine ( within walking distance if you feel like a stroll into town). Off street parking is spacious and secure. Shower was hot and water pressure strong. Neat and clean. Room was well heated by reverse cycle aircon and electric blankets. Microwave was handy .

The gentleman at reception was genuinely interested in his guests and went out of his way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The bed so was incredibly comfortable and the room was impeccably clean (mopped up some water with a pure white towel and no dirt marks AT ALL). The location was super quiet, parking was convenient and was an all round comfortable stay with value for money to boot!

The shower floor was a little slippery and the water pressure wasn't very good.

Good amenities including toaster,kettle and microwave, efficient air-conditioning heating and comfortable bed. Easy walk into town centre.

Have stayed twice and noticed a big difference in rooms. Some have been renovated, others not and are dated and have large cracks and older style fittings and fixtures.

Nice inn with cosy and spacious rooms; very close to the centre of town (about 5-10 minutes walk to Mostyn Street). Also close to the Goldfields track if you are looking to have a nice day hike or afternoon stroll. Had a lovely stay - no complaints!

Close enough to walk into the town centre. The tour to room was roomy with comfortable bed, couch, table and chairs The bathroom was a good size and spotless clean. The hot water had great pressure and good temperature.

The outside tables, close to the windows, shared by guests led to some noise when trying to sleep while others talking and smoking outside.
