Thoroughly recommend. Everything was spotlessly clean, showers hot and bed very comfortable. Little extra touches, like small bottles of fresh milk, Tim Tams, cookies and mentos were all really appreciated, along with info re motel and local restaurants etc. Great location to main areas, and nice and quiet for sleeping. Pretty garden area tucked away down the back. Parking spot with each unit, TV and reverse cycle work perfectly. Owners very approachable and welcoming, very friendly! Thanks!! Nothing to actually dislike here! As said in the info package in the rooms, the motel is an older building. There are small signs of some work being done and a bit of titivation to go... if being picky, you'll notice painting still to go where door handles or curtains have been renewed etc. . but very superficial things. Would have loved a footrest with the couch to put feet up... but found that the fold out "case holder'"was the right height! For all the pros of this place that soaks in to you, nothing really to dislike!

Lovely touches in the room. Eg. single-cup coffee plunger and fixings, cutlery and plates, toaster, and yummy biscuits (replaced whenever they service the room). Large and very comfy bed with electric blanket. Decent and silent AC/heater. Plenty of parking. The moteliers and staff are friendly and considerate. They really did go above and beyond to accommodate and help me during my stay in Kyneton.

If I have to say anything it would be the location. It's in Kyneton township but not that close to the shops or bus/train stations. But then, it's a motel - you're supposed to drive there.

Fabulous room with very comfy bed. Extra pillows available n a lovely warm doona for the cold nights. It was great to have a double couch for two to sit on n watch tv. Great bathroom with sink n plenty of bench space, shower, separate toilet. Two stools to sit up at the bench for breakfast. Fabulous crockery cutlery, toaster, etc. attention to detail is wonderful …rooms serviced daily, clean towels daily, soaps, etc replenished. Water in fridge too. Biscuits n mints provided. This motel provides many things that 5 star in Melbourne CBD miss ….recommend this motel very highly.

Everything is amazing!

Doesn't matter the destination, I'm always looking to see a little something, something that makes the room cute or original. I really liked the layout of the room but the two seater sofa really made it cosy and cute. There was a teeny coffee table, topped with a bowl of lollies and that made it original. So it met the cute and original criteria really nicely.

I do like a pitch black room and the curtains let in too much light.

Did not have breakfast. Although in the High Street it was quiet; I asked for two rooms together and was given them. I needed to leave one car there much earlier than normal as we needed to go together to another location for a concert; unasked for, they went out of their way to make sure our rooms were ready for us to freshen up and move into at that earlier time.

This motel from the 60's has been renovated beautifully. It is super modern and clean and just so fresh looking. The front entry and grounds are well landscaped and look superb. The private gardens at the rear are a complete surprise and immaculately kept. Love this place.

Nothing at all. for the traveler, this was perfect. There was really nothing to not like.

Double power points each side of the bed was handy for charging phones & iPads. Quiet. Great size bathroom, big vanity basin, big bathroom bench, face washers supplied. Crockery supplied. Two Tim Tam biscuits & 2 others supplied. Park your car right outside your room… Thoughtful owner put heater on both days before we returned.

Not a fan of plastic shower curtain, but we managed fine…

Everything was just sooo Easy. This Motel was absolutely Spotless. I don't particularly look for that type of thing, but it just sort of hit us as soon as we walked in. Wow. And because we were going to possibly arrive late, the door was unlocked and the heater on and milk in the fridge. Genuinly lovely Motel and what a gorgeous little town. Great shops and beautiful Botanical Gardens and River Walk. Gee there are some Sweet Gems of towns in Victoria that people ( including us just don't know about). WHAT A LOVEY LITTLE SURPRISE.....

Friendly welcoming owners, great location, walking distance from Kyneton, near shops, bars, bookstores, Kyneton Botanical Gardens, cafes. Walking distance to train station (uphill). Immaculate rooms, excellent showers and beautiful peaceful garden with amazing big tree to observe possums!! Comfortable beds, nice and quiet at night. I will certainly be back and recommend.

Attentions to little details that say we care about you. EG. Quality tea and coffee plunger, complimentary tim tam biscuits, Easter Eggs, spotlessly clean, huge hand basin, great shower, complimentary bottled water. Daily housekeeping service, plenty of coat hangers etc.

Fluoro lights a bit too bright.
