It was perfect for what we wanted. We only stayed 1 night. It was comfortable, bed, sheets & pillows were all good. Heater worked well, and TV was a good size. Didn't use the shower, so can't comment on that. We had a room at the back ~ was quiet. The place is just a friendly run old style motel - don't expect bells and whistles - the price was good too. Would stay again if we were up that way.

we have stayed here a couple of times. Its a bit dated and could do with some upgrades. i see its for sale so maybe this will happen. The water pressure in shower is good and i like the autumn leaf tiles. rooms are warm and cozy with a fridge and microwave. beds are comfortable. Cant think of anything else.

Needs maybe a bit of paint. maybe some breakfast options. Bit of a walk into town the hill is fairly steep.

The shower was great. It was close to the town centre. TV was a good size and reception was excellent. Bed was comfortable.

They might like to check the hinges of the door (on room 6)"- had to lift the door to get it to close properly. Paintwork throughout was pretty poorly done (if they want to improve the appearance of the room).

The service and cost .. though it would have been cheaper to book with them direct .. which is what I’ll be doing next time.

Shower too small and water not hot enough. Also don’t like separate hot and cold taps in bathroom sink.

Kate made me feel most valued and welcome the moment I arrived. The motel room itself, although dated (which for me had it's own retro charm, anyway), was comfortable and spotless. Enjoyed my meal at the local Clunes Hotel, which Kate had recommended; staff here also extra friendly...Clunes Motel was a perfect peaceful stopover for me as a marriage celebrant and nearby Daylesford, where I officiated a Sunday morning wedding, was only 30 minutes drive away. I'll be back for sure!

Friendly welcome and helpful info on where to grab some dinner. Clean rooms, older style but nice and fresh smelling. Linen was very clean, microwave and toaster in room. Minimal outside noise, great shade for your 🚗... will definitely come back and bring our bulldoggo... pet friendly... win win

Old fashioned but very clean. Comfortable bed.

Outside is rundown but it didn’t matter. Shower not enough pressure.

Motel is old but clean and bed was comfortable, heater in room was good and electric blanket worked fine, nothing fancy but we only slept there.

The shower in the room we had was very small.

It was great value for money. Everything was in good order and comfortable. The heater in the bedroom was most efficient for a super cold night. It was a very comfortable stay.

As a budget motel it stood out. The room was spotless and warm, the bed comfortable and the owner on hand and helpful. I was even able to ask for a Panadol when I developed a headache, and this was willingly provided . Do not be put off by the less than modern appearance externally and the somewhat outmoded furnishings.
