The Cheeky Squire had everything I needed for a one night business stay in Frankston. It is walking distance to the centre of Frankston which is always good for me as I can walk to the cinema and watch a movie. The room had a nice touch in a partially stocked mini bar (water, Tim tams etc) which was free. Few cold bottles of water in the room is always appreciated. The wifi was good, quick enough to watch a show on Netflix, the bed was comfortable, good shower - everything you could need for a one night stay. I didn't get a chance to walk down to the beach but it looks like it is just over the river on which the hotel sits.

Room was super comfy, bed and pillows were excellent. Shower was great. Loved the complimentary mini bar items and they were restocked which was even better !! Quite spacious rooms with lots of room to put luggage etc. Location of the hotel was really good, easy to get to and from and had the free parking. Staff were amazing, extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was a problem. Also got 2 free drink vouchers to use at the Squire as well. We didnt do any breakfast options but we did dine at the venue above the hotel part and it was excellent. Good prices and super delicious.

Little bit noisy in the evenings from the Squire venue, but it didnt prevent us from falling asleep or waking us up.

The staff were amazing in particular the housekeeping staff. The rooms were quiet, comfortable and up to date. Room service meals were enjoyable and delivery within 10 minutes of ordering. The complimentary Tim Tams and bottled water were a pleasant surprise.

The parking was very difficult. The patrons of the hotel and restaurant did not respect the signs for accommodation patrons parking spots. The only recommendation I could suggest is either a microwave in each of the rooms or a communal kitchenette that for a microwave for meals when the hotel restaurant is not open.

Comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. Clean linen and facilities. Decore of room was pleasant.. Housekeeping staff staff friendly and courteous. Located close to esplanade and activity areas

Access to book in was complicated. Access from car park to room via steps was difficult for elderly people. Access to accommodation via steps needs handrail. Wait staff were doing their job.

Dining staff went out of their way to ensure our meals were delivered promptly to ensure my client and I could get to his dream social event with plenty of time to spare. Location was amazing and I wish we had more time because I think we could have stayed at least 3 nights enjoying the fresh air, social vibe and the community spirit.

We were down the very end of the hall. When travelling with a client it's a lot of managing luggage and organisation and I can say I slept very well that night.

Great location, good room service available because restaurant/bar upstairs. Offered free drink cards pp on arrival for house beer or wine upstairs at the bar which was a nice touch. Beds were comfy as well. Good facilities shower etc.

A lot of the entry doors to check in and out were locked and desks were unattended.

Our 2 nights stay at the Cheeky Squire was great. The rooms within the accommodation were clean and spacious, the beds were comfy and they had free complementary food and drinks stored in the room witch was topped up each day. The location of the hotel was a short walking distance to the center of town and the beach but more importantly the staff were very friendly and helpfully. We had arrived late on a Friday night and they were able to accommodate a table within the pub for dinner even after the kitchen was closing on a busy night, even given us the time to unpack and settle in before seating, this was a highlight for me when staying here as they were so welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay here and would be coming back to stay again.

Shower was very spacious with plenty of hot water, room was clean and nice TV.

The reception was in an awkward spot, especially since I tried to check in around 8pm and the main door was locked so I had to go through the bar and staff directed me to a hidden backdoor. They also had to change the room I booked to a cheaper room (We did get refunded the differance) which was a bit upsetting

I did see the comfort of the bed was within the marketing collateral in the room and I thought "I will be the judge of that" and I wasn't disappointed, it was sooo comfortable. Bathroom was tastefully renovated and clean. Check in staff made a point of letting us know the drinks and snacks in the fridge were complimentary - you never hear that. :) Great stay and will definitely be staying again. Oh and I forgot to mention the dinner upstairs - the bar has a great vibe and the food is delicious.

I did have a look at the reviews before booking and there was a comment made about hard to find the entrance and I agree. I personally would have used this feedback to improve - i.e. add to the google listings / directory etc and say 510 Nepean Highway, Frankston enter via Kananook Creek Blvd (the dark facade sort of hides the entrance a little)

The size of the room was fantastic. Having the kitchen area and lounge was great. Perfect for a family. Very close to the shops and beach so perfect location. Plenty of parking. Restaurant upstairs was great.

Probably the Saturday night quite a few young people were hanging around in the carpark very late.
