We didn't know that the hotels in the Geelong area close their receptions at 9:00 pm. We arrived at the area at about 10:00 pm to find out our hotel had closed. With no place to sleep, we called this hotel and the receptionist said he would wait for us, booked us a room, and helped us stay the night at a comfortable place. We cannot thank enough that someone stayed and waited on late hours for us! Thank you, guys!

The location. I visited a dermatologist just across the road. The motor inn is a very good place to stay when I have a medical appointment at the dermatologist. I just walk down to the traffic lights, as it is a busy road, and walk a short distance for my medical appointment.

It was very cold in Geelong the two nights I stayed. I was able to use the air conditioner in my room, and the electric blanket kept my bed warm. The electric blanket should always be turned off before going to sleep, and of course I did this.

Was a very short walk to the business function from the hotel which was easy to find and access from busy city streets. Room was small but very clean and well equipped. Check in staff were very polite and friendly. Parking is off the street and easily accessed and right at your room door.

No exhaust fan in the bathroom and showers taps could use a new washer or two, but they were clean and the water was hot.

The room is comfortable, the toilet is clean and close to the city center beyond imagination。 Flight cancellations due to weather made it quick and easy to book a room at short notice. When I arrived, it was past the end of the day, but the front desk staff still waited patiently and served me warmly!

The sheets the bathroom and all surfaces were very clean was quiet atmosphere was able to order food to my door quite easily

The room did have a bit of a smoke smell

The accommodation wasn’t five star, but It was perfect for what we needed. Price was good, Cleanliness was good, location was great and the bed was comfortable.

Think "Retro style" but it's very clean despite the age of the building

Window into the unused restaurant showed it full of boxes which I assume are being stored there due to lack of space...

Scenary from here is beautiful. Staff were very friendly. Good variation of meals on the menu, if you want to eat there you need to order by 7pm. Room was comfortable. Nice cafe accross the road for breakfast. Those are the two only places you can eat within walking distance as quite remote. Location perfect for activities in Royal Otway National Park such as tree top walk and Triplefalls walk. Nice and quiet to get a good nights sleep, can get cooler so heater and hot blankets are on the bed.

Wow the Aberdeen Motor Inn is in an excellent location. The staff are so helpful and friendly. It was extremely clean & comfortable. Great value for money. I can highly recommend a stay here!

Convenient and so close to where we needed to be in Geelong. Upon opening the door to the room it did smell fresh which is important to us. An old establishment which, whilst not 5 star, is just great. Beds very comfortable and room is clean.
