My room at the Aristocrat Waurnvale was extremely spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was perfect, and it was easy to get the water temperature just right. It was extremely helpful having a fridge, kettle, and microwave in my room. It was also easy to keep the room cool with air conditioning and a fan. I'm very grateful to Aristocrat Waurnvale for being so flexible as I needed to check in later and check out earlier than their usual hours. They were very accommodating.

It would be better if there was Wi-Fi available.

Breakfasts were excellent. The poached eggs & bacon cooked just rite. I had some uncooked brekkies so no point rating those. Best of all I didn’t have to pay for them ( & for $300 a nite for the room, just as well ). Shane, the owner, was freindly and had a good sense of humour. The room I was in had a spa bath (that I didn’t make enough use of).

I can’t think of anything to whinge about (again, except the cost, however that was my fault for leaving it so long to find a place during Avalon Airshow).To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect re the motel but I wasn’t dissatisfied, unlike my experience with the airshow.

Location is great, not too far out but nice and quiet. Easy parking and checking in and out. Bed was comfortable and room nice and dark at night. Shower nice and refreshing.

Lacks wi fi, its a must have in these times when most things are done over the internet especially when there are no in room info folders. Lacks info in rooms regarding availability of breakfast.

Room was clean & comfortable. Linen & towels were fresh & well laundered.

The doors were warped, need minor maintenance work. Also the 2 side table lamps switch on & switch off every 10 seconds - very irritating to the eye!! A big disadvantage is the non-availability of free Wifi which is a norm in similar accommodation facilities.

It was a nice, neat room with adequate facilities for us. There was a swimming pool but not weather for it.

It is not central. It is on the outskirts of Geelong but that wasn't a problem for us as we had a car.

The location was excellent for our purposes. The presentation of the building and surrounds were very well maintained and we would stay again. It is within 5 mins of the Waurn Ponds shopping complex.

Owners excellent. When finding out we were down to visit our first grandchild we were not charged for our breakfast. Thanks so much. Also, the motel is just virtually across the road from the Nicols Paddock Winery.

We were very happy

The room was great for what I needed. It was very quiet, almost eerily the first night before I got used to it. I found the shower a little hard to get in and out due to a back injury but once in the water pressure was great.

I snagged my good jumper on the rough brick wall once. The shower was tricky to get in and out as stated before.

Vertical quiet country location on the door step of Geelong. I would stay there again when needed. Very easy to get to and travel straight into Geelong.

Whole amenities look tired.

Breakfast was excellent, Room was quiet. Staff was very helpful.

One of the reasons we chose this property was that they advertised electric blankets. There weren't any but honestly we didn't miss them. The room was very warm.
