Modern appliances, modern bathrooms, comfortable beds. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful.

The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in with 3 people was rather cramped . The laundry was behind doors in the hallway leading to the door and when the doors were open it was difficult to move through the doorway. The couch was a small 2 seater so one of our group had to sit at the dining table to watch TV. The bedrooms were comfortable but it would have been good to have lamps on the bedside tables. It also would have been useful to have had instructions to operate the oven and there was no oven or microwave cookware. As we stayed three nights more tea and coffee would have been appreciated.

Really appreciated how beautiful and well put together the apartment was. We had a 20 minute travel time to and from the city on the tram which was really very good. There was also a lot of free parking around the apartment along Albion street. The walls were fairly thin and it was easy to hear what people were doing in and outside of their own apartments, but other than this, Artel apartments were brilliant. Would definitely stay there again.

The only thing that could have been better was the fact that the rooms weren't soundproofed. You could hear everything that other people were doing in their own apartments or outside of ours.

The room was clean and the staff were easy to deal with. WiFi signal was excellent in the room.

The surrounding location is a bit on the run-down side, seemed to be an awful lot of closed-down businesses around. Beds were very stiff and not incredibly comfortable. There was only a 2-seater couch in a room that slept 4 people. Only 1 TV for the 2 bedroom unit. Only one air conditioning unit in the living area, so if you closed your bedroom door at night you had no cool air whatsoever. They provide you with an oven, but no utensils to be used with it (tongs, etc).

Close to tram and train (grab a myki card) which made getting into the city so easy. Northern Perk cafe 100m walk for great first morning take away coffee or relax in the courtyard out the back . Check out Edinburgh Castle Hotel 200m walk from Artel, they have a huge outdoor courtyard and good food. Apartment layout was great and it looks just like the pictures. We had a huge private deck. Great for kids to run around or store bikes. Apartment storage was good and I loved being able to completely unpack and store suitcases. Our room was very quiet, no road noise.

Kitchen needed more utensils and the cupboards above the kitchen bench were very high and hard for us to reach.

Convenient location and surprisingly quiet too. Spacious living area, huge comfortable beds.

Heavy rain leaked via corner of patio doors through inside skirting to leave a wet patch on bedroom carpet. Although this did eventually dry (over 3 days) it was unpleasant to step in on your way in and out of the bedroom & left a musty smell. We did bring to the attention of concierge but it was over Christmas so not a good time for repairs to be done, which is fair enough I guess.

We didn't have breakfast, but the location was perfect for us as we had an event both nights just down the road, so was within walking distance.

The bed was incredibly comfortable....However, the pillows were way too high and gave me a sore neck and shoulders....A few thinner pillows would have been appreciated.

The receptionist was so nice! She explained everything clearly on arrival. She was very approachable and welcoming. The location was nice too! Walking distance from Woolies for groceries. Other food places nearby walking distance too. Parking was secure too. Apartment was lovely. Would stay again

There were no sponges or scrubs to wash dishes or wipe tables. ( i know there was a dishwasher but a sponge would've been nice still). The balcony barrier could've used a wipe down, had alot of webs on sides.

We stayed 4 nights in this small neatly decorated, modern, clean apartment which had (almost) everything we needed, and more. Would recommend especially for people staying a week or more. The location on Sydney road is great as it is near a range of interesting restaurants, cafes and bars and is on a very convenient tram to the city and North Coburg. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. The room is easy to keep a good temperature.

The TV is not very smart. We had quite a bother trying to get our Netflix account to work (each time we needed to go thru a technical routine to get it to work) and it didn't seem able to have other TV apps (eg Prime). The fixed metal shading covering half the west-facing balcony outlook made it a little darker and more closed in than we would have liked (tho' likely welcome in summer). To save our backs, it would be helpful to have a broom (there is plenty of space for this) in addition to the dustpan. And it would be great to have a plunger to make coffee. Hot chocolate sachets would ice the cake (the x factor).

Location was great, near public transport, places to eat, coffee, etc Near to a small supermarket and not far from other ones. Very quiet. Washing machine was good, clothes dryer great and sturdy. The wash machine was also a dryer but we didn't use that. Staff were friendly though did not need to see them much as all was good.

No bedside tables or power points by the bed to charge our phones. Not much in way of cooking utensils, though we enjoyed eating out mostly anyway!

The apartment was well sized and very clean and comfortable!! The bathroom was really nice. There is a great cafe really close by and the tram stops in front. We were unable to check in when we arrived and had a big day out planned for a friend's birthday, so we left our bags at the hotel. When we got back, the staff had taken our bags to the room and turned the heater on for us!!

The street the hotel was on wasn't amazing... the bed was slightly too firm for me but the pillows were great and I'm sure it'd be some people's preference to have a firm bed.
