Melrose was extremely peaceful place with ample parking. All facilities functioned well. Security at the place makes us feel safe. A short distance to the town and all food places. From here, we were able to travel to south and north melbourne at ease. Loading and unloading our begs was a breeze. Right in front of the apartment! How close can you get!?. Best for us. There was a feeling of safe when getting back to Melrose from a long distance trip as there was parking space. Tea, coffees, milk, fast internet, was always available and this helps working late at night (honeymoon :-D hahaha and office work) and morning breakfast. There was also the feeling of joy seeing school kids going to school in the morning. Our host at Melrose, i dont know the name of the lady and a kind gentlemen, who welcomed us on the 1st day, made our Melbourne trip sunshined with happiness. Our host was very responsive during our stay. Stop searching for other hotels and start click the booking button for Melrose! I will come here again when in Melbourne.

there is none. believe me, i've travelled to more than 50 countries, all continents, and i say...there is none that i dont like. To other hoteliers, make a study/work visit to Melrose. :-)

It is a great location close to the Royal women’s and the children’s hospital. The apartment was modern and very clean and well maintained. The host was incredible she was so accommodating to our unforeseen changes and could not have done more for us. Thankyou so much. Great laundry to use if needed, and the housekeeping stage did an amazing job each day checking if you needed anything and fresh towels. Will definitely stay again when back in Melbourne.

There was nothing that I didn’t like. It is the best apartment we have stayed in for a long time and we travel a lot, so this is a huge compliment.

The owner of the place is really nice and accommodating! When we first checked in, she gave us a lot of good recommendations of things to do and around the city! Tried the famous donut shop Moon Cruller as per her suggestion and it was amazing. Whoever reads this please go to try it at least once! The location is very convenient with a straight tram to the CBD area and there is a massive supermarket just 10 min walk away. The room was amazing too! Very Spacious for couples and very clean. Had a kitchen that was very well equipped. With olive oils, salt pepper, pots and pans, cutting board, many knives, a toaster, and many other kitchen tools! Managed to cook 2 dinners here and it was so fuss free as it had all basic equipment for cooking.

We had a wonderful stay at Melrose Apartments. The room was very clean , calm and spacious, super comfortable bed , a great little balcony and actually all you need. We got a very warm welcome and would absolutely stay again when we are back in Melbourne !!

You should know if you’re by car that except Sundays the parking infront the building is limited to 4 hours.

The staff were very welcoming. I was able to check in early as I requested in advance and a parent was available. The room was very clean through out the 4 nights. There is also a heater/AC in the room should temperature the weather require the use of it. The apartment is also next to the city trams and train stations making it convenient for guests or tourist to stay in this apartment. A gas stations is near should you need a Miky card to use the public transport.

Probably if I could get a bar soap as I am not comfortable with bath wash.

We were given a large room with a balcony. We have nothing but praise for our stay. We were met at check in, shown to our room and given details re. where to park our car and where to catch trams to the city and supermarkets and eateries in the neighbourhood. There is only street parking, but one section does not have a time limit which we were fortunate to get. The apartment is well equipped, quiet and comfortable. This was the second time we stayed and would not hesitate in returning if in Melbourne.

All was good. Channel 7 didn't have good reception for the football but that was a minor detail.

The apartment was lovely and clean, and the kitchen came with 3 person set of cutlery and crockery, microwave and a dishwasher. Bathroom was huge and nicely renovated and spotless. The air con was such a relief as we were in Melbourne during a heat wave of 3 days at 39°! Beautiful comfy bed, and we never heard any traffic at all, in spite of being near a roundabout. The owner was nice and helpful, and the apartment was a great size. Proximity to Melbourne zoo was fantastic! Such a great zoo! We were very happy with everything.

The furniture in the nice apartment was a bit dated, but it did display that on the ad. Needs more crockery and cutlery to enable guests to only have to use the dishwasher, rather than having to wash pieces for more than one meal and then only use the dishwasher at the end (not full).

Lisa was absolutely lovely and helpful - a one woman powerhouse! I stayed on the second level, with a balcony overlooking the main street. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, with plenty of natural light. The shower was large and the bed was comfortable. The wifi was good. There are plenty of street parking. The location may not be central but the tram is a minute away. This was one of the best accommodations and I would stay here again.

Very small nitpick: the shower door was not sealed so the water got out easily; the bathroom faucet is also quite loose so can do with a bit of tightening. And a suggestion is to move the cups to a lower cupboard so the vertically challenged (like me) can reach it easier without assistance. Nothing major as I would definitely stay again :)

The apartment was very comfortable, it was spotless and well appointed for what we needed, enough cooking facilities for us, the mini dishwasher was very handy, and the shower was really roomy. I will say the bed was very firm, however that is the type of mattress we need/have for my husbands bad back so for us it was perfectly fine, just something to be aware of. The location also was ideal for us, as we were there for appointments/surgery at the RMH for which the tram is but a hundred metres or so away, 4 stops from the hospital. The apartments are just off the main rd which itself gets very busy at peak hour, but the streets around the actual apartment are so so quiet and there is tonnes of free parking which is timed to either 2 or 4hrs from 7.30am-5pm and which we had no trouble finding parks.

Just needed somewhere to hang the handtowel, and a bigger bed for such a generous room would have been much nicer, Im not used to sleeping on such a small bed but it wasnt terrible.

The staff were wonderful. Could not have been more helpful. Really open and friendly. A credit to the business. Room was big and the bed was very comfy.. Area is quiet. Convenient location next to the tram station. Would stay here again without question.

Nothing of major importance. If I was being picky I would say you have to keep an eye on your car because there is only on- street parking available and it is limited to 4hrs. Not a lot of restaurants within walking distance but 2no. 7-11's close by.
